Next 8 Games

Post#1 » by TXSun » Wed Jan 12, 2011 8:01 pm

NJ, POR, @ NY, @ CLE, @ WAS, @ DET, @ PHI, CHA. 8 very winnable games and we are 6 games under .500. If we don't come out from this 8 game stretch with a .500 record then 2 things need to happen and they will happen. 1. Trade Nash 2. Fire Gentry. I'm not buying this "it takes time" bull $hit. we are 11 games in since the trade, NO WAY WE SHOULD BE PERFORMING THIS WAY, TRADE OR NO TRADE. We play with no heart at times, and our coaching has been horrible. It shouldn't take 11 poorly played games to figure out the rotation. Either it gets figured out or we find someone to figure it out and quick. This 8 game stretch is crucial. The season is on the line in more ways than one, to say the least.

What are your thoughts on the next 8 games?

They will probably win most of them, that's a good thing or bad thing depending on how people look at it I guess. If they win 4 or less...think it's safe to say the season is over.

i have such a feeling that this will end in horror. we end up in ruins and we will fire gentry - trade away nash and ghill and end up with a record 20-62...

If the FO wants to win, they'll play Nash serious minutes, diminish Dragic's time on the court, and only take Dudley out if he pays Sarver $1,000,000.

This possibly could be make it or break it for the Suns. They MUST win 6 out of these next 8 games if they want to have a chance to stay in the playoff hunt. If not, then the February trade deadline is going to be really interesting.

I predict..

NJ- W
POR-W
@NY-L
@CLE-W
@WAS-L
@DET-W
@PHI-W
CHA-W

I really am hoping if the Suns have any fight left, they start off on a good note against the Nets.

exactly what I've been saying all along, these next 8 games will determine the future of this franchise. if we are not 21-21 come Thursday, January 25th, its time for drastic measures.

They need to fire Gentry now because I can tell you if he is coach for all these games we will lose most of these games he has lost this team and last night proved it hey got beat by a distracted team that's about to lose their star player and they got beat by 34 points . Now how the hell does gentry still have a job after that disgrace of a game the only way left to motivate these players is to remind them that there are consequences to not giving any effort . Fire Gentry Now and Sarver sell the **** team! :evil:

Nash/Dragic/Duds/Frye/Gortat or RoLo - these five give us the three point shooting we need, spread the floor, decent defensively and rebounding

gives us a decent bench, but not one to play the minutes of last year's bench mob. because they aren't as good

or swap out MP for Dragic

but I've now been convinced: four out, three point shooters, starters play major minutes

that's just what it is

name one "stud" in next year's draft and then we'll talk. next year's draft will be one of the weakest in recent years.

The Suns ain't going to tank it. We have to much talent in this roster not to make the playoffs. The Suns are one PF who can finish from being really good.
