Phoenix Suns Board "Scout A Player" (Wiz Game)

They have the same thing over on the Magic board. I thought it would be a pretty good idea to start up here too.
So, I've thought about a different idea. That is, people sign up to "scout" a Suns player for a game. What would this mean? Well, basically, you would watch the game as you usually do, but you would pay at particular focus to one player -- you would consciously not follow the ball, you would follow a player and note all of the little things (good or bad) that perhaps everyone wouldn't see if "just" watching the game -- the cuts, the box-outs, the tipped balls, etc.
I don't know if there will be a ton of interest or zero interest to do something like this, but I think if there is some interest then it might be a cool addition to all the pre-game/game thread/post-game discussion.

Is this for one game or the season?
Reguardless I'm in, I'll pick Gortat
He played well tonight, dropped a few easy passes but probably had his strongest game in a Suns uni with 16/12 and 3 blocks

What is the deal with Dragic ? His plus and minus , usually ends up on the negative side.
Does anybody have stats on this ?

I did this with Amare last year, and challenged others to do the same. I called it the "Amare Challenge". It wasn't until I watched Amare, and only Amare, an entire game that I began hating him. Laziest dude on the planet. Don't question otherwise until you have actually done this.

I would fear that favoritism could take over if a poster chooses their favorite player. Other than that, this is a great idea and I look forward to the results.

This is a great idea, I have to decide whether I'm going to the game or not (the one Suns game I can go to each year and I forgot to advance buy tickets, so I prob can't afford anything good
) but I'll follow someone either way - just if I'm going to the game it won't be someone as major bc I'll want to take everything in

Haha, am I that obvious? But yeah, we can co-write bro. It'll be cool to see two different perspectives, and people might think I'll be biased with my statements.

And also, if we are taking some things from the Magic board, I'd love to do a Player of the game thread.
With the Magic, It's a "victory sweater vest" and then for when they lose a game, it's "Dunce Cap of Defeat."
Maybe we can do something like that for the Suns, like Victory Star, or something less cheesy than that. Something that relates to the Suns and is an important figure or something. lol

And yeah it should be something Suns specific
