Anyone know the exact value of our remaining TPE?
I think it's somewhere in the 3-5mill range?
Thanks

It's around $5.7mil.
We also have another one from the Orlando trade worth around $1.8mil.

Is it possible to combine TPE's? 5.7mil+1.8mil= 7.5mil TPE?

No, combining smaller TPE's to make a larger TPE isn't allowed.

Talking about TPE, KT just dropped 22/9/5 assist on 10-16 shooting, while playing 44min tonight.

Happy for him. Bulls fans have been ecstatic about him. Ageless.

I agree. I loved that guy on our team. Veteran leadership, toughness and defense.

the way he played tim duncan was really fun to watch a few years back. He actually knew what he was doing.
The remainder of our TPE's are kinda useful, especially if we package them with one of our many wing players. The truth is, I don't even know what we need. It's way more then just one position. We need more good players. I really only like Nash, Hill, Gortat and Frye (I know he's not popular right now, but I think most of us can still his value). Everyone else can go as far as I'm concerned.

I know this has been said, about seven million times, but I'll say it again, YOU CAN NOT COMBINE A TPE WITH A PLAYER! Sorry for the caps.
We won't use our TPE, even when we had a crack in the window of chip running, did we use it. I really doubt Sarver uses it in a year, where we might miss the playoffs. Plus who is going to give us someone of use for our TPE?
As for KT, I was saying we should have grabbed him from MIL when we had the chance. Yes he is old, but he has vet smarts, and I think he worked well with Steve.

Without wanting to start a new thread, anyone have a list of the major free agents in this coming offseason?

Cheers mate. Haven't watched many Wizards games this year but it looks like Nick Young is putting up big numbers - if he continues to develop he may be worth keeping an eye on during free agency..

That TPE should have been $12m dollars but the idiotic owner thought the team needed another gawd damn small forward and totally effed up the cap and this team.
If Sarver had only paid Kerr for the month of July - the team would be better, the cap would be better and sarver would have more money in his pocket
Of all the moves that effed over this team this summar - signing Childress with that TPE was the WORST.

I still think Childress has more value on the court than Warrick even though Childress isn't playing right now. Childress scores within the system, he defends well, he rebounds well and he comes up with hustle plays. Warrick is super inconsistent offensively, doesn't defend and doesn't rebound. You just never know which Warrick will turn up each game, the screening and diving Warrick who draws fouls at a high rate and finishes on PnR's or the Warrick who tries to create his own offense and throws the ball in the general vicinity of the hoop.
Childress hasn't been overly spectacular for us even with PT, but at least we know what we get from him night in and night out.

Sarver's summer moves resulted in us getting screwed and that's all. We're down a 2nd round pick, traded Turkoglu away, and Hak and Childress are rotting on the bench. Sarver has no freakin clue how to build a basketball team. He should have been interviewing for the GM position long before he started and waited for someone who has an idea of how to run a team to make decisions. I personally don't like Childress. He does everything ok but nothing exceptionally well. Even our new Greek dude doesn't have a man crush on him despite the fact that he played in Greece for 2 years against lesser competition. Hak's a one trip pony who's been figured out... I hated the deals Sarver did when he made em and I hate them now. I'd be all up for trading Pietrus to a real contender for a pick if it becomes available. We need more cap space and more shots at getting someone for our future. The draft is just an educated crap shoot anyways. The more bullets you have, the better chance you have of hitting someone. I don't see any free-agents wanting to come to old Nash and the role-player crew. Dragic is gonna have to run the team for a year and show he's good (he's had 3 starts in 2 years and in 2 of the 3 he's been exceptional) before anybody would ever want to come here

I don't believe he's worth that money, even more when we're not even playing him. He does many things ok like defending, hustling, rebounding but he doesn't do anything extremelly well, plus he has no range and ugly shot mechanics. He was brought to Greece as a player that would make a big impact but he failed, he couldn't change the flow of the game (except very few occasions), so I can't justify him getting that money in NBA where the talent goes off the roof.

Agree 100% - God, I'm turning into Hak's own Hunteraxe

Not too sure about Nick Young Nev. We already had a undersized 2 guard before in Leandro Barbosa. Not sure if I want another one. Sure Young is young (no pun intended), but I don't think he is the type of starting sg this team needs.
I reckon we should really go hard after Chuck Hayes and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute. Both are graet defenders, and won't be too expensive.

I agree with DRB. Young plays more like a 6th man than a starting SG. He's undersized, doesn't play much D, doesn't do a whole lot else other than score but he does score fairly well. I certainly wouldn't hold my breath while waiting for him to develop.
