Channing Frye (shoulder) has an outside chance to play in Friday's game against the Warriors.
Frye is getting shots up and sounds close, but his quotes are more telling. "It's not like I can say, 'Let me play through the pain,' because this is my livelihood. The shoulder is pretty serious. I'm trying to avoid getting surgery. I want to continue pushing every day but I can only go as fast as my body tells me," Frye said.

He's right - you're not being ironic when you say "the warrior", are you? He'd be an idiot to hurt it further
I have no doubts about Frye's commitment

So much sooner than I expected. Hopefully he is fully healed. He should not risk it.

Shut him down for the season, shut Nash down too.

Yeah don't risk it. I'm starting to lean towards the tank and build for future through the draft approach. Is there a point to getting into the POs and getting trounced? And if by some miracle the Suns pull off a G-State miracle vs the top seed, like G-State they'd be inevitably trounced in the 2nd round anyway.
Lack of consistency, rebounding, and defense will only get the Suns further away from a high draft pick.
