The Grizzlies will inevitably lose some games (I hope) that they should win with Gay out. This is Phoenix's shot.

Memphis has only gained ground on us since his injury. I don't know how they keep winning. They have a very easy schedule coming, they're a lock for the 7th seed IMO. NO or us get the 8th...

They WILL lose games but problem is so will Phx. The team needs to start eeking out us crunch time wins vs the top teams.

Unless Memphis has an epic collapse comparable to the Mets, we won't be catching them. Our only hope is that Houston / Utah struggle down the stretch along with us beating the Hornets in the remaining 2 games AND them also losing a lot of games.

I don't like our playoff chances, :(

Maybe our cursed franchise will have a stroke of luck for once and get a top pick, weirder things have happened.
