Completely agree. He sabatoged the game, IMO intentionally, by shooting that off-balance 3 instead of going to the basket (last shot he took). I think he wanted to give up and go home. Straight garbage play, no heart. I will apologize to the fans and franchise in Pheonix for having such a player in a Suns uniform. Straight embarrassment to the NBA.

Carter is either a terrible fit with the Suns offense or his game has just fallen off the map. I tend to think it's the latter. He looks awful out there for you guys.

Carter is like fools gold just another worthless bum who can't play basketball to save his pathetic life he is done put a fork in him . Let Nash , Frye, Grant Hill , and Gortat beat the piss out of him and then throw him out on his ass!

I was neutral on Carter...not anymore, the guy flat out was terrible tonight and looks completely washed up.

You know what really pisses me off about the Suns? We lacked a quality center for so many years, but have every other piece and great bench play (cept for Kurt Thomas before Sarver screwed that up), now that we have Gortat we don't have that dynamic wing scorer, good bench, or quality PF.

carter was a superb player up until his first season at orlando..infact he was pretty good there too aside from 1 month and the playoff series game vs boston. Anyone who watched carter in new jersey knows that tonight if you brought in the 2005 vince carter he would have scored close to at least 40 points with the amount of looks he had.

he WAS a great player but hes past his prime and is lacking in confidence..must go.

He is heartless , totally out of energy, he can only telling jokes to opponents what piss me off . If he's still injured let him fix it would be better than leting him still playing this trash.

I blame Gentry for putting VC back in. Yeah we needed some offense at that point but VC has been a complete no show. He was 2-4 (in OT) with 1 TO and those FG's came from an early 3 in the OT2 and that meaningless lay in at the end of the game. In the 4th quarter he played 5min and was 0-3FG plus 1 travel TO.

He seems to fancy himself as a 3pt specialist these days.

Pretty much his whole career he's relied on freak athleticism to make circus shots/layups/dunks/etc.
In NJ where he played his best ball ever, he was a great scorer because he could attack from so many different places. But the last couple of years he just camps out and occasionally plays in the post or drives.

This is very sad to see when a player just can't get it into his head that your leaping ability is gone and can't drain those 30 footers anymore.

I personally think that Vince just doesn't quite grasp the enormity of his suck. As in there's really nobody around Vince to get on him for sucking so badly. I'm sure Vince will get in some extra shooting time, but there's just no urgency and pride from him to make a big impact in the game unless it's vs Toronto.

You're all bashing him relentlessly on the boards, so why don't you guys give him the "fans' message" at a game sometime. Make some signs of "6-22 VINCE YOU SUCK". Make sure he hears it during warmups, etc. It'll make you all feel better and in the best case scenario light a fire up his ass.

paul pierce was 1 for 18 a week or so ago lol..so was bosh..i think carter needs to have more faith in post up and drivinig..he is not a natural 3 point shooter although his career average suggests otherwise.

we play toronto next so expect a good game..as a vc fan it hurts to see him **** our team up today..i remember when this guy was such a consistant 25 points minumum per game player with 50% + FG% on plenty of occasions.

he even looks a bit overweight and its not the beard talking! ..man i was watching a game he played vs phili on youtube just now where he destroys them..producing sick crossovers 360 layups 3 pointers dunks on all angles..

i wish he retired before the end of last year..this isnt the vince carter i used to watch.

The guy is either lazy or straight up can't be f-d. He's settling for contested 3's when he could just fake the shot and drive by his man.

You have to point the figure to Gentry. Carter was throwing up garbage for most of the game and Gentry left him in. and even called plays for him (that were bricks). I am a big fan of Gentry and have always supported him, but c'mon man SMH.

Who's a worse NBA at this point in their careers; Robin Lopez or Vince Carter?
