Similar to LeBron James this week when he drove to Quicken Loans Arena, Amar'e Stoudemire was denied access to the players' lot at U.S. Airways Arena when he drove himself to the game from his Scottsdale residence as a member of the Knicks in January.

"They wouldn't let me in," Stoudemire told the Daily News. "It's not like I left on bad terms."

Stoudemire says he was surprised but not upset by the action taken by the Suns.

We also turned away Lou Amundson when he showed up on his bike.........but that was when he still was playing for us.

Amare doesn't play for the suns anymore. Why should he be allowed in the suns players' lot?

Doesn't really matter but seems kind of assholish - let the guy park his car, big deal

Well, if it's a Suns lot, then he shouldnt have been allowed. Whatever though, couldn't care less either way.

Shouldn't the headline be "Despite parting on decent terms and a warm reception when returning to Phoenix, Amar'e cries to the paper and tries to create drama where there is none?"

I definitely think more of those words would be capitalized and the editor may trim it down, but that would have been my proposal.

Amare didn't think it was a big deal. We just went by the books. Let's move on.

Leaving on good terms is still leaving. He's no longer part of the team and thus not allowed into the parking lot for Suns players. Simple as ABC. Don't see why he made a big deal out of this.

And no, that's no the Lebron treatment. I'm pretty sure they did the same to Barbosa. Only difference is he didn't talk about it because the reason is painfully obvious.

It's kindof like when you and your girl break up. Even if its on good terms she cant expect you to take her out to dinner anymore
