Interesting stuff, it's clear that the injury is affecting him.

This leads to an interesting and rather depressing point though. We always talk about how invincible and ageless Nash is. But at 37 years old and with a few injuries that keep on nagging, are we starting to see a slight slowdown in his career? I mean, for someone as active , it's not unheard of for an NBA player to start getting wear and tear injuries that never really go away at that age. And Nash does all his maneuvers that use remote muscles (he's discussed how he does special workouts to develop uncommonly used muscles). I'm just afraid that even if not now, soon we are gonna have to face the fact that he's not a 30 minute player anymore, that he just can't play every game in the long NBA season, or something. I guess the long NBA season one won't be an issue next year - zing! But yeah I just have to wonder, ya know?

I dont think the minutes are necessarily the issue as much as work load is, Amare took a lot of weight off his shoulders. If we had a guy like that where Nash could dump the ball to when he's feeling fatigued I don't think he would be breaking down late in the season. But guys like that don't grow on trees and unfortunately Sarver didn't realize that.

Nash just had to work so hard this season, especially before Gortat got here. The fact is that Nash is Playing over 70 games this year and regardless of his health he gives us our best chance at winning when he's in the lineup.

I've also noticed the last month or so, that the refs aren't calling the hits to Nash's back when he turns the corner and slows for the defender to bump him or ride his back. That is quite infuriating. Last night it happened over and over again, especially with Rose and no calls everytime.

I've always thought Nash has gotten hosed by refs, you would think a player of his stature and caliber would get more calls.
