At 36, Steve Nash leads the NBA in assist. Season felt short of expectations, but it's nice to see Nash as the NBA assist leader once again. He's got alot left in the tank.

In my opinion, Rondo's AST are empty.

I always thought the stat guys are really lenient towards Rondo's assists. A lot of the time he passes the ball and the guys take 2-3 dribbles before making a move to shoot. Rondo still has great court vision and passing ability but I do think he gets a lot of cheap assists.

LOL you can see the smile on Nash's face at the end. He surprised even himself I think lol.

Rondo is a stud but Nash still has the best court vision in the league and he's doing it hurt.

Without the Big 3, Rondo would be Kyle Lowry with a worse shot. I swear. You can quote me on that.

Nash gets his AST by creating shots for average teammates.

Rondo gets his AST by passing to above-average players who create their own shot.

I just really can't stand him and (to steal one from BH) his bitchmade douchiousity.

I think Rondo is really good, but I do agree with this to some extent...

Nash could average 15+ ast playing with the Big Three in Boston. Not to mention make their offense ten times better; defensively, completely different discussion.

None the less, still the best creator in the league, even at his age and playing injured. People don't want to admit it, but he's the best the league has seen in terms of court vision and creativity outside Jason Kidd.

Steve Nash is capable of way more than Jason Kidd. IMO Jason Kidd is one of the more overrated players of the decade.

hard to argue against Jason Kidd leading the nets to back to back finals with Kenyon Martin as your wing man.

jason kidd and steve nash are on the same level. no need to discuss that. nash is still a top 3 guard (on offense)

In all fairness the East was horrible those two seasons.. I'm a huge Kidd fan but you knew going into the finals that the Nets had no real chance. Also, K-Mart was a legit player in those days before his knees went out, also Jefferson was pretty good. Personally, I don't consider Kidd overrated, I think that's absurd, but I do rate Nash ahead of him by a considerable margin despite Kidds all Defensive team seasons here.

Another thing that makes Nash's numbers so good IMO is that:

a) he is playing with arguably the most ill-fitting roster of anyone in the the top 5
b) he's done it without a proper p 'n r partner for at least 2/3 of the season...or at least since Gortat became his no.1 option and that has only developed late in the season.

Also let's not forget how many easy baskets the Suns players miss on a regular basis. He could average 15apg if our guys could finish plays more often.
