Hill was spat on by a fan

From AZ Central
Fan goes at Hill

As Hill left the floor after the game, he was held back from a fan who he said cursed and spit at him.

"He said some profanity and spit in my direction," Hill said. "I'm not going to let somebody spit at me. He knew he did wrong because he took off running."

Hill was held back by security, who caught the fan.

"I just saw the anger in his face," Carter said. "When you see Grant like that, you know something's up. Grant doesn't say anything to anybody. He competes and does his job."

That man had best hope his name isn't published... NF33IH will fly to the USA just to punch him. And I'd be fine with that.

This makes it sound like you are blaming fans at Suns home games. The game was in Chicago. It's Chicago fans.

I hope the Bulls are swept in the playoffs. Even if it's by the Lakers, just so this fan can suffer.

No not the Lakers. I could see their fans doing something like this too.

I don't think he realised that the Lakers sweeping Bulls in the playoffs means Lakers are crowned champs again.

I'm kind of a DRose homer so I'll say I don't really want the Bulls to lose. I believe Hill has also posted something about how one Bulls fan's stupidity doesn't represent the entire fanbase.

The problem is that a guy spits on a 6'8" professional athelete and doesn't get his ass kicked. Oh, he'll get into trouble, but it won't have the same impact as it he had to drink **** through a straw for 3 months.

Problem is, our society protects idiots like this.

The best medicine for this guy would have been to get it handed to him. And of all people, Hill!?

Of course, he would have sued and won.

Hey guys, Bulls fan here. This was really bad. I was at the game but not court side since I was in the 300 level so I did not see or hear that this had happened until after the Boston game yesterday. There was nothing bad said where I was seated and I was at the game with a Suns fan so I did confirm if he thought so as well which he did. He enjoyed himself for the most part minus being down 22 and that last possession. If I would have seen it happen then I would have said something/helped to get this "fan" thrown out. He was most likely drunk but that doesn't excuse such piss poor behavior. Apologizes guys.

Like Hill said, it's stupid to blame a whole fan base just because one out of control fan took it upon himself to do what he did.

Unless we're talking about the Laker fanbase, then it's ok lol.

Just one creep - doesn't define the Bulls fans anymore than, say, oen of the waived types here defines the Suns fans.

I like Chicago - hope they do well and knock of Miami and Boston.
