OPTION A:
*Trade Lopez/Warrick/1st-Unprotected for Lamar Odom.
*Sign Brooks qualifying offer.
*Bring back Dowdell and Lawal.
*Draft Markieff Morris.
*Sign free agent Dominique McGuire (originally I said Cunningham, but he is in drug trouble).
*Let Vince walk away for 4 million.
Nash-Brooks-Dowdell
Dudley-Pietrus-Dowdell
Hill-Childress-McGuire
Odom-Morris-Lawal
Gortat-Frye-Lawal
---OR---
OPTION B
*Same deals as above, except:
*Trade Lopez/Pietrus/1st-Unprotected for Lamar Odom.
*Sign veteran Michael Redd for dirt cheap to see if he accepts and rehab his knee.

I like your suggestions and trades TheMan44, but in this one I think you ignores this about Dante Cunningham :

Wow. Did not know that. Definitely scratch that. Suns would definitely not sign that kind of player given they have a "boy scout perfect human being" mentality in the organization. If I recall, they traded away Jason Kidd for slapping his wife, no?
Lol

We don't want Odom and his ogre coming to Phoenix by trading Lopez and a future first to the Lakers. That would be detrimental to the Suns long-term future.
Signing Lou Amundson would make sense if we could trade Hakim Warrick and a second round pick for Chris Anderson. That would solidify our bench unit pretty well. I can't imagine having that much hustle off the bench, lol.

STEP ONE:
Trade:
-Josh Childress
-Robin Lopez
-Hakim Warrick
Receive:
-Andre Iguodala
STEP TWO:
Resign Aaron Brooks
STEP THREE:
Buyout Vince Carter for 4 million dollars, then trade/waive Dowdell, Siler, Lawal for cash/draft picks
STEP FOUR:
Sign Nene' Hilario
ROSTER:
Nash-Brooks
Iguodala-Dudley
Hill-Pietrus
Frye-Draft pick?
Nene-Gortat
Starters:
Offense-- Nash and Nene execute pick-n-roll almost or even better than Amar'e days. If not, we can dump it in to Nene to have some post scoring advantage. Frye camps at three point line. We use Iguodala as dynamic and explosive scorer, Hill as mid-range scorer.
Defense-- Nash attracts charges. Iguodala and Hill are excellent perimeter defenders. Iguodala can defend bigger bodied players considering his size and athleticism, allowing Hill to focus on another good player. Frye's defense is improving, and will have the backup of explosive 7 footer, Nene.
Bench:
Offense-- Brooks is an excellent three point shooter, along with Dudley and Pietrus. Gortat can also run the pick'n'roll with Brooks, while Dudley and Pietrus get to the open spots. Also, Gortat can give us some points in the post.
Defense-- Although Brooks isn't the best defender, Dudley and Pietrus are excellent perimeter defenders, while Gortat has great defensive energy and can protect the paint.

With what money do we sign Nene?
And who will give picks for journeymen players?

You also forgot to ask how do we con Philly into taking Lopez/Childress/Warrick for Iggy? Do the Suns have some blackmail photos of the Sixers FO in a very compromising situation or something?

Yeah these fantasy deals have to stop. Philly will not bite on Warrick and company for Iggy. Suns will not spend any kind of money for big-name free agents whatsoever. And you simply cannot trade/waive guys like Dowdell and Siler b/c they are not assets. They are youngsters fighting to keep a roster slot who you have a team option to keep or release.
There aren't other clubs in line saying, "Oh boy, I can't wait til Suns trade Siler. I'll give them a second round pick." That's just stupid.
Which brings me to my original deal:
Lopez/Warrick/Unprotected-1st for Lamar Odom.
Do that deal alongside re-sign Aaron Brooks to a cheap 2 million qualifying offer, draft Morris, and sign some young SF/PF in the names of Cunningham, McGuire, or Derrick Brown.
That's realistic.
Gort/Frye/Lawal
Odom/Morris/Lawal
Hill/Chill/Cunningham
Duds/Piet/Dowdell
Nash/Brooks/Dowdell

lol
so Clippers offer Kaman for Iggy... but 76ers rather 3 bench players instead...
its very unlikely... come on now.
Nene Hilario is going to get paid by Nuggets... if not traded for a high pick.

of course - this offseason trade talk here will take a different spin if Suns land a top-3 pick in tmrw's lottery selection.
can't wait.....
I have a small feeling something crazy will happen.......!!!

Odom has like 3 years more of productivity..
An unprotected first and R.Lopez (22 years old) is too much...
R.Lopez is a decent backup center as most said.... and an unprotected first!!! Are you out of your mind!! The Suns are always an injury away for Nash, Hill, Gortat from bottom 10 in the league.... yes, you can use that argument for ANY team, but Suns are like 5% win ration WITHOUT Nash.... the team is built with Nash in mind, unlike other teams with actual plays and or 1-2 stars to help them if one is injured (cough Lakers cough)...
Unprotected first is a HUGE asset.....

Let's hope a miracle happens in the draft tomorrow. Top 3 pick please.

Now you're just being greedy. Give us 1-2 spots and i'll call it a good day. I want us to jump ahead of Golden State.

I thought it was either we're locked into 13 or we get a Top 3....no in between. Am I wrong?
