I really really hope the Jazz take Knight, Raptors take a PF/C, and the Kings take Kemba Walker. Fredette is the ideal candidate to take over once Nash is gone.

but isnt Babby/Banks adamant to install a defensive structured team?
Jimmer is as "limited" defensively as Nash is.. was..

Shumpert is starting to look more and more of..
Westrbook
-Athletically similar.
-Do it all PG.
-Explosive.
-Big.
-Lack shooting skills
or a more athletic and bigger Jason Kidd without the HOF vision
-both labeled as lacking shooting skills coming to the league
-both great defensive players
-rebounds, passes, runs breaks
or a 6'6 version of Gary Payton
Gary Payton wasnt always a great player, it took him a couple of seasons to adjust to NBA level.
Shumpert has the size, athletism, body, skills.... only need to smarten up shot selection wise and improve outside shooting.

I swear... I made the Jason Kidd and Westbrook comparisons before even clicking that link by KERRSED.
But I saw Westbrook in him, after reading Draftexpress's profile...
its meant to be!

If we draft any player with the last name Thompson, I will be disappointed. Both Klay and Tristian will be scrubs in the NBA.

Tristan Thompson is one of the guys I wouldn't mind us drafting to be honest...
Argh makes me sick we don't have that other 1st rounder and Banks has the balls to say 'we need to address the backup point guard' - why the F do you trade Dragic AND the 1st for a guy he clearly doesn't see as the long term answer?! maddening...

To all the Tristian Thompson fans, I have a question:
What is the difference between him and Gani Lawal?
Is it really worth spending that pick on him when you already have the same type of player on the bench? Why not spend it on Hamilton, Brooks or even Biyombo or Farried.

Maybe read all the posts on here cause I asked this question numerous times.
Apparently he's light years ahead of Gani defensively and has better hands. Also a little more athletic.

And he isn't coming off of a major injury. I am hoping Gani can bounce back because he is young, but he really needs to make his mark this year. I would much rather have a player we already own step up their game at the four, than have to use that pick to draft another kid that will get very little playing time if we keep/get stuck with the current lineup.
If we can't trade either Lopez or Warrick, we will have too many guys at the four. The sad part is that Chill actually played better at the four than Warrick. If we draft another, what will he be, a fourth string?

The most ideal situation for the Suns (IMO) is to trade Gortat for the No 2 Pick. Trade Aaron Brooks for the No 21 Pick (Blazers have a TPE from trading Bayless).
Draft Derrick Willaims, Jimmer Fredette, and Iman Shumpert.

I would think the ideal situation is to pull the GS trade make sure we get Jimmer instead of the Jazz. and then a big man with the 13th or trade that 13 to get a big man idk or best case get the BPA. i really like Udoh and think we need to make this GS deal happen

Anytime the words 'Gortat' and 'trade' occur in the same sentence, the phrase 'ideal situation' becomes a little muddled.
Why do people keep insisting on trading Gortat? Finally the Suns have only one of the best centers they've had in franchise history - a true double-double defensive, blocking, rebounding machine - and you want him out for some young kid at #2?
No more Gortat trade posts or else...

I'd rather the Suns take a risk on a kid who could be a potential superstar in the league then staying content being a 8-10 seed in the Western Conference.
Gortat is awesome, but the Suns do not have a superstar right now. RoLo is going to bounce back and have a tremendous season!

Maybe we can do it for Lou instead.
11/Lou for Lopez.
Though I didn't read the links about GS saying what was too much or too little or whatever it was. Was busy with some other stuff, can't even recall where I saw about GS saying no. What'd they say?
