Barkley (36/19/7) and KJ's 38 points vs GSW (1994 playoffs)

Post#1 » by LamarMatic7 » Tue Jul 5, 2011 6:38 pm

Charles Barkley starts the 1994 Playoffs with a blast. He schools young Chris Gatling and rookie Chris Webber on the offensive end with many and-1s, hustles for loose balls and gets really emotional - trash talks with Latrell Sprewell, yells at referee Bennett Salvatore. April 29, 1994.
(A game people don't remember that well as the 56 points in Game 3)

KJ is lighting quick as always and records a new career playoffs high in points. May 1, 1994.

Dropped this by in case some of you want to see this. The best place to turn to with the lockout now - 80s and 90s NBA. If you want to see some similar videos to these, check out my youtube channel.

Barkley's 44/24 performance in game 7 of the WCF's was probably the best game a Sun has had in the playoffs.

Thats the thing, Barkley was literally a BEAST in the Playoffs, putting up epic numbers. I dont even think Duncan, Garnet has approched a 40/20 game.... Garnett had a 30/20, but 40/20 and dominant all over including clutch... Barkley was a BEAST.

I know Duncan was 2 blocks short of a quadruple double in the 03' Finals. That was pretty beastly.

The video contains 10 blocked shots, but seems like the one at 5:38 and 5:58 didn't count, although Bill Walton credited the first one as a block. So basically he had a quadruple double in the NBA Finals

What the?! Barkley had 18-11-2 in the FIRST QUARTER

That's insane.

So many amazing performances in Suns playoff history since I've been watching.

All the Barkley ones, Majerle's eight 3s, Kevin Johnson playing SIXTY TWO MINUTES in the 3OT game, Nash's insane games in the 2005 series against Dallas, Dragic's 4th quarter....

^Chapman's miracle 3...Raja's 3...The Spurs series with Amare and Marbury hitting dagger 3s...even KJ coming out of retirement to help out is something I'll never forget...

Oh ya, those plays too. I was talking about "performances" but those plays are all un-real. We have so many things to hang our hats on, its almost "ok" that we don't have a ring yet, you know?
