Dear Robert:
Please sell the Suns to somebody else. We miss the Colangelo family and hope you take your little show back to Tucson where it belongs.

Re: Robert Sarver
How is it that people forget that Colangelo put the Suns $200 million in debt, which is the exact amount that Sarver bought the team for? He also took on that debt, and now is feeling the crunch because of the economy. Jerry started the f*ck over, and Robert inherited it. Jerry just jumped a sinking ship early. Why would we want that back? That is like the Republicans blaming Obama for the economic mess we are in, when it was really Bush's fault.
Some fans won't be happy until we sell our team to a guy, who will take it to another city before they spend money on it. Ask a Sonic fan if they liked their new owner... Oh wait, there aren't any Sonic fans anymore, because they sold their team to a guy just iching to take it to OKC.
Now I am not happy that Sarver is messing with the lockout, but how was he supposed to know that he bought a team that was never going to be allowed to win a chip? How was he supposed to know that Stern rigs the league? Once he realized this, he now just wants to make a profit.
I hate not having a season, but if it can force Stern out somehow, I am all for it.

Doesn't make him any less of an ahole. Still a walking turd. Still ruined championship chances. Still sold multiple draft picks.
A cheap owner buying a franchise when the franchise is down doesn't make him any less cheap. It's kind of like how you go to hospitals when you don't have a medical insurance. They'll gladly help until they charge you the money.
**** you Sarver.

I am not saying I like the guy, but placing the blame on his navigational skills of a sinking ship, while praising the guy who put the hole in the ship in the first place, seems stupid.
And Colangelo traded DJ for Robey, blah blah. The Suns had a ton of unfortunate events that kept them from the chip, as well as Stern never wanting them to have one in the first place. Bad moves were made, but good ones as well. Honestly, at this point, I am just glad he didn't move the team to San Diego.

Ah Blu, I guess out of all that, that is the best you can speak to.
Many Spurs fans said I was crazy when I suggested that the refs threw that game three. They kept saying, "Why would a ref throw a game?". And sure enough, the Donaghy thing shows up.
Also, Jon Barry made a ton of comments about how the Suns were getting screwed over in many calls, and then after that game, he doesn't make any comments about the reffing.
I am fine with it being a crazy thought, but too many things point to Stern fixing games, series, drafts, and such. It may be just a ton of coincidences, but I guess I am just too cynical.
Now let's talk about how good of a GMing job Mike D'Antoni did for us.

Yes, the NBA is going to fix games in favor of a team that has been frequently described as the most boring champions ever and caused the 2007 Finals to have absolutely pathetic ratings.
But do you know what they call a fool, who's full of himself and jumps into the path of death because it's cool?

Regardless of who's fault this thing is--I think we can all agree it's a mess and we're lucky to have a loyal star playing for the Suns.

I'm not saying refs are incapable of throwing games, I just don't think David Stern is orchestrating a conspiracy against arguably the most entertaining offensive team since the showtime Lakers.
I'm pretty confident I've seen a 'thrown' game, and I've posted about it before. I'll post some notes here on what, IMO, is the perfect example of a thrown basketball game:
"I can say with a large degree of certainty that this game was one of the more blatant fixes. That Phoenix vs. New York game was a game that I was told was bet by the crew associated with [alleged Donaghy co-conspirator James "Baa Baa"] Batista, it was also a game where Phoenix shot 14 free throws in regulation and New York shot 36.
There aren't that many games in the last five or six years where a team had a 20 point free throw edge."
Those are the sentiments of a professional gambler who bet primarily on the NBA to make his living. The game he was refering to was a triple over time Suns/Knicks game.
The Knicks won the free throw battle 54 attempts to the Suns 16 attempts. I was watching the game from the New York side of things, and even Walt Frazier started calling some of the fouls against the Suns "phantom fouls". I'll never for get that game...IMO, after seeing the game several times, it's a clear fix.
Box score: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=260102018
There are some pretty crazy statlines in that game:
Steve Nash: 28pts, 5rbs, 22ast
Marion: 39pts, 14rbs (only 1 turnover in 60 minutes!)
David Lee: 23pts 15rbs, 10-11 from the field (He was a rookie)
Marbury: 32pts, 10ast
Jamal Crawford: 29pts, 7rbs, 7ast
Eddy Curry: 20pts, 15rbs

And he sure learned his lesson, and went back to the old Boston vs Lakers format that saved the league years before. In fact your comment and what happened after that should just be chalked up as more evidence to my theory.

Re: Robert Sarver
Kerr, Welts, Griffin all wanted out because of Sarver which really says something.
Then he tried to replace Amare Stoudemire with Hakeem Warrik and Josh Childress.
He doesnt need to sell the team, he needs to be shot.
