I am a Knicks fan, and I wanted to know although Vince attitude obviously sucked last year....
Physically at what capacity is Vince still there. He seems to not have lost his legs completely.... Scouting Report please...

Re: Vince Carter
Its hard to say.
He came from a sure bound playoff team (ORL) to playing with a team that just missed the playoffs. He seemed to know that he wasnt a part of Phoenix's future and was most likely told that he was acquired as a salary dump filler because the piece we really wanted was The Gortat. He didnt play hard for us. Halfway through his tenure here, it seemed he gave up, and quit driving to the hole and just settled on jumpers and 3 point shots.
He has retained his speed and quickness, but his defense is severely lacking. It could be our system, or him not caring, but it seemed he would keep up with his man, he just wouldnt apply the pressure. Sometimes he seemed kinda lost, but he was still learning our no defense defense.
I was expecting more, as he played well in Orlando, but knowing who was running our club and knowing we would most likely miss the playoffs, he played with no heart.
Put him on a playoff team and im sure he would step his game up. Suns will be buying him out once the CBA issue clears up, and im sure he will look to sign with a playoff team for the Veterans minimum (if its still around). I could see Chicago targeting him, but think NY would be wise to try to snatch him up before the Bulls can.
Billups/VC/Melo/Amare/?????? would be a great team to watch.

Re: Vince Carter
I was slightly disappointed...wasn't expecting much, but he also didn't look like he gave a Fck half the time
As far as the Knicks go, why not keep Fields as the 'glue guy' starting, and see if Vince is willing to be the hired guy off the bench as a designated scorer like Crawford etc...

Re: Vince Carter
I think he was doing okay when he first came here but in the end it was just bad. I am not even sure
if the Suns will buy him out because he is a 18 Million expiring contract. And i think that Vince will not sign only to be a scorer off the bench.

Re: Vince Carter
It looked like Vince was physically hurting when he ran last season. He was almost hunched over..
