Aussie in need of help

Post#1 » by burnsphx » Fri Dec 16, 2011 1:39 am

Hi there
i'm travelling to the states in April next year, and would love to see a suns home game, been a suns fan for quite a while now, and have always dreamed of seeing the suns play in person. Suns vs Lakers on the 7th of April is the game im looking to attend which would be amazing.

Any way the reason for my post is i'm wondering how hard it is meet the players, i remember hearing about aussies going over there a couple years back and them meeting some suns players, Are the public allowed to attend training, or are there regular meet and greets with players? Also whats the best option for tickets, im willing to spend near to $500 for a ticket, it would be great to the suns nail the lakers up close.

thanks

Meet the players ?

Apparently all you have to do is get drunk in 5 or 6 cities and have a tattoo of Grant Hill on your bum.

^One of the guys in the group sent some emails to the Suns website and we basically got really lucky - they loved the story of 4 Aussies and a Kiwi coming to the US/Canada to watch the Suns...they hooked us up with an experience which I and all the other guys will NEVER forget, absolutely unreal experience

Planet Orange is probably your best bet as a starter - sign up there and just let them know your plans - SDU is a mod on that board and he's as loyal a Suns fan as they come. Even though he's a big Aussie lummox ha ha
