OMG a gamethread! So happy the new season is here finally. Despite what marJmar thinks the Suns will play well this year and win more than a third of their games.

Oh right, I looked it up and they acquired Rudy Fernandez and Corey Brewer, to go along with Faried, Harrington and Anderson.

I reckon we'll smash them.

They were extremely deep after the Melo trade, and they were kicking butt all the way to the end of the year. They re-signed Nene, and also got Rudy and Brewer for nothing. While the loss of Chandler, Smith, and Martin will hurt, if they can build on what they did at the end of the season, they might be a very tough team to face.

If they can re-sign Afflalo, they are two deep at almost every position.

Yes, a preseason game really develops our "youngsters".:D

How is this game not being televised? You'd think FSN would want to get in as many games as possible considering the shortened season. Sure, it's not going to be good basketball..... but it's basketball! :D

according to AZcentral.com it says the two Preseason games will be on FSN, but on the suns site it doesn't say it will be televised

Wow, I hope this is accurate. I checked my TV listings earlier and they did not show the games listed. Maybe it'll be updated tomorrow. If not, I wonder if AZCentral is just wrong.

Afflalo still not extended, Dre Miller not in shape, JR Smith/WChandler/K.Mart still in china... better beat these guys if Hill and Nash play.

Gortat will have a lotta size to deal with between Nene and Mozgov, lets see how that goes down.

Nené is already resign. It seems like he took less money that what he could have earned so the team could use some in Afflalo.
You also forgot the Birdman. Or is he gone somewhere else?

Martin could be in his way back from CHina? His team wants to release him, but the sport authorities could take measures against that. If successful, JR and CHandler could follow him

I saw Gallinari playing the EuroLeague with Milano while he was here and he sucks. But he really sucks. No desire, no shooting, no rebounding, no passes, no defense. Depression maker.

Update on preseason games being televised. They are not.... unless something changes very, very quickly. I checked my on-screen TV listings this morning and they still were not showing any Suns games on Tuesday or Thursday. Checked AZCentral.com and it lists the games as "No TV". Of course, Suns.com is still showing "No TV" as well.

Considering it's a shortened season and FSAZ has "Fox Sports Plus", I just can't figure out why they wouldn't want to televise the games. Their loss, I guess.

Yeah, the last couple years the only preseason games they've televised were the outdoor games. Oh well, in one week the season starts anyway.

I saw Gallo play a lot last year and he never played like that before - sick? Some other reason? I like the guy a lot
