If he's an offseason target, for those who want a good look at eric gordon, this is a game to watch. I think we'll win this one.

Is it wrong to think of the first game of the seasoning as a measuring stick? I mean, normally teams get the first 10 or so games to find themselves, but with this season obviously it won't work that way.

Think this first game will really tell us if we are a fringe playoff team or if we are in for a struggle this season.

I am having a gut feeling that the Suns will fall into a trap this game. Yes, Chris Paul and David West are gone, but Eric Gordon and Jarrett Jack could have a huge game against the porous Suns D.

Suns need to take care of business early on and play like they are playing an elite team. This season is different, and the mantra of "easy wins" should be thrown out the window.
Looking forward to the 28-29 season.

I'd like to see Morris start at PF instead of Frye. If Frye doesn't improve quickly, and Morris continues to play like he has so far this could happen sooner rather than latter.

Its a hard game to judge since the Suns didn't look that impressive versus the Nuggets. But I'm still going to say that it's going to be a close game but the Suns will pull it off.

paulcoro Paul Coro
Gentry said Warrick has changed the coaches' minds & has to play. He spent time at SF, where Childress had 7 pts, 1 reb, 6 fouls in 38 mins.

Looks like maybe Warrick will be the back-up 3 on the team. Dude played well in the pre-season. Chill played like **** and could end up 3rd string SF.

I have been a proponent of Chill getting more playing time, but he has to want the position and be willing to work for it. If he doesn't improve significantly, I see Sarver using the amnesty on him at the end of the season to clear up cap space. With his current productivity, not many teams will trade for him with a salary of $6.5mil.
