I think it's a pretty tough game. Cleveland plays great team basketball. Let's hope that we'll get an early leed to rest Nash and Hill as much as possible because we're playing New Jersey tomorow.

And so is his weird shot selection.

I think such game can show if SUNS are plus .500 or we are just underdogs in this league. Cleveland, New Jersey we must win such games to show that Suns matters something in this league. If not better skip this season to draft good pick in a future. What's the point to be in the middle of everything all the time. Hmm the game is 3 am polish time its gonna be hard to watch.. hope it's worth watchin' :)

I'll be watching this one...and I always bring good luck, except when I don't.

1) Suns in the conference finals was complete surprise
2) I was living in the US at that time

1+2 = my good vibe made the Suns go to the conference finals.

Simple as that.

Yeah, I'm interested in how he can play after so many years of injuries. If he can be even 75% of what he used to be in his prime, he will help more than Dudley or Brown at the 2.

No defense though....

Cleveland is nowhere near as bad as they were last year. I've seen them play TO a couple times already and they've got some nice young'uns and not a terrible team. Not a gimme by any stretch

Yup when you add two top 10 picks in the draft your bound to become a better team. I can't wait till they play Miami and beat them. lol

Gentry said that Redd could start tonight and will take away some minutes from Hill. Great idea since Hill is playing too much. But it seems like Gentry isn't afraid of a Nash-Redd backcourt defensivley. I'm really looking forward to see him back!

It would make sense for Redd to come off the bench and help the ailing 2nd unit offense. Plus having Nash and Redd on the court at the same time is a complete defensive liability.

The key for Redd is going to be good dribble drive penetration from Price, Telfair, Hill, whoever to collapse the defense then kick out to Redd for 3's or jumpers.

I think Redd can put 15 a game if healthy.

Interesting, hopefully he's not just saying that (as he's been known to do). I'm guessing if this is the case, then the lineups look like this:

Starters:
Nash
Redd
Dudley
Frye
Gortat

Bench:
Price
Brown
Hill/Warrick
Morris/Warrick
Lopez

I like this lineup much better. Hill will less minutes, but still very significant minutes. Also, he will be that veteran leader the bench group needs. Everyone still gets their minutes and if Redd regains form, I think we're better. Definitely a good game to test this out.

Redd starting ??? How desperate are we ?

Shades of the day when we introduced Grant and Burke... as if they were the answers to our woes.

Jsut keep playing boys, it will sort itself out and come game 30, we'll all know the true status of this team...

I wish I had a fast forward button.

News: The Suns confirmed that SG Michael Redd will make his Phoenix debut Thursday against the Cavs. "I'm so excited," Redd said Wednesday. "The last two years have been the toughest of my life. To come back and climb this mountain, be on this team and play, God is faithful. I'm looking forward to the national anthem, breaking a sweat in the warm-up line. You miss the little things when you haven't played in so long. It'll be fun."

Analysis: While the Suns are excited about Redd's potential to help them out, coach Alvin Gentry warns everyone that it will take time for Redd to get his timing back. He also needs to find out where Redd fits in his rotation. It's going to be interesting to see what Gentry and the Suns can do for Redd. His career has been derailed by injuries, but the Suns’ fast-paced offense -- and training staff that has kept Grant Hill healthy for years against all odds -- could be just the recipe he needs for a resurrection.

Hard to imagine Redd guarding anyone or even rotating to his man in time, probably do his best but knee injuries and older age not good, and this isn't Grant Hill. Who is one in a million recovery.

If it works it will be fun to watch. If it doesn't, we get a better draft pick.

I guess it could be a win-win.
