Suns Ring of Honor: Next

I was just thinking about the Suns Ring of Honor and wondered if there are any players that should be in that aren't already. Though it might be a good idea for a discussion.
So here it is, Who do you think should be in if the Suns had to induct a PLAYER today? No current players allowed, such as Amare, Marion, Kidd and Nash.
My Candidates:
Dennis Johnson, Paul Silas, Jeff Hornacek, Larry Nance and Rex Chapman.
I pick Chapman due to his ability to come through in the clutch and how fun he was to watch. The shot he hit against Seattle was amongst the biggest shot in Suns history and there were plenty of other big shots hit by Rex. His career here was brief and injury plagued but memorable when he laced em up.
So who's your pick? It doesn't have to be from my candidates. I'm sure I missed some.

Rex Chapman was fun to watch. I remember that playoffs game, I was in bed listening on the radio when the announcer is like " Rex Chapman who launches up a three, goooooooooooood goooooooooood gooooooooooood"

I dont recall watching Dennis Johnson, Silas, Nance because I wasnt born during their time. I guess wouldn't hurt to have Chapman inducted.

Out of that list, I would think Nance would get the nod. I would want Hornacek. Silas helped make us lose in the finals when he was with the Celts (incidentally he called a timeout when they didn't have one in the game that went into overtimes, but the ref ignored him because he knew they didn't have one, and didn't want the game to end that way.

)
Rex wasn't with us long enough. DJ was great, but better on Sonics and Celts.

I know Pat Burke wasn't around much but he did have that killer 3 pointer against the Lakers in the playoffs. What are the chances he gets inducted in Hall of Fame?

You know who's not on your list Mark West. He doesn't have the numbers, but was always a defensive presence. Spent 7 years with the suns 6 years in his prime. Not saying that he should get in because he was mostly just a role player Just thought he should be mentioned.
Also John Macleod coached the suns from 73-87 made the NBA finals and an above .500 winning precentage. Never understood why he's not in there. Maybe someone could enlighten me?
Also obviously Al McCoy should go in and really they should just do it now instead of waiting for him to retire/pass away like they did Cotton Fitzsimmons

I've heard rumors of McCloud being inducted, thats why i capitalized PLAYER, so he and other non players wouldn't be included in the discussion. But it's a valid point. As for McCoy, I honestly thought he was already in. I think I got confused with the Al McCoy Media Center in the arena (a pretty big honor in itself).. But yeah, get him inducted tomorrow! He cant appreciate it when he's dead.
It'd be interesting to see a guy like West or Ced, who while they weren't stars they have remained a part of the organization but I honestly don't see any other players getting in besides Nash, Amare, Marion and hopefully Kidd. But I will always remember Rex fondly.

Haha, I almost listed him but I am doing my best to erase the Starbury era from my memory... other than the shot he hit against the spurs in the playoffs and the face he made when Amare posterized Olowokandi.
Edit: there it is..

Oh sorry didn't notice the player part. I'm not sure if Kidd will get in his stint here was only 4 years and he has had much better years with other teams finals twice in NJ and winning it with the Mavs . Nash should really be in the day he retires.

I think our ring of honor is based on what they accomplished here, not what they accomplished elsewhere in comparison. And when Kidd was here he was all-nba first team 3 times and all nba 1st team Defense twice (and 2nd team once).. Along with leading the league in assists 3 straight years.. We made the playoffs all five years he was here. I think based on accomplishments he should be a shoe in but I think the way he left may have a larger impact on how he is remembered.

What about Neal Walk, played 5 seasons with us. Averaged close to a double double, and worked many years for the Suns.
