Definitely deserving. Anyone that thinks he doesn't deserve to be in based on our team's record should consider what our record would be without him. No need to look at age or anything of the such.... simply look at the stats. Congrats Steve!

Can't believe Chuck is saying that Steve Nash shouldn't be an All-Star based on Phoenix Suns record being under .500 especially when he picked Al Harrington to be there...

Like hell it's easy to give 10 assists a game in this role player filled-team.

QFT.

And I like how he contradicted himself by saying Love deserved it last year on a horrible Wolve's team yet Steve doesn't deserve it this year when we're only 3 games under .500. That in itself shows he deserves it. This team without Steve is lucky to have 4 wins.

Congrats to Steve, but IMO, there were a bunch of other teams that deserved all-stars over Nash. The Rockets, Nuggets, and Jazz not having an all-star is just plain ridiculous.

The team doesn't go to the ASG, the player does.

Which players for these teams deserved to go over Nash?

Lowry, Gallinari, Lawson, and Al Jefferson comes to mind.

None of those guys have played as well as Nash this year. He's shooting almost 56% from the field. His PER has him as the 9th best player in the league so far. It's not even a question, Nash deserves to be in there over all those guys.

The All-Star game has nothing to do with the teams, it has to do with individual players. It's not the "average players from playoff teams game", it's the allstar game.

Gallinari is hurt and out for while.

Al Jefferson is having a good year, but he's a center, not a PG. Marc Gasol (I think) was picked as the reserve C for the West. Bynum is the starter.

Why do you think Lowry and Lawson deserve to be picked over Nash? Their numbers don't reflect that they have played better than him. Nash at 15.1 ppg is slightly behind Lawson at 15.5ppg. However Nash leads the league in assists at 10apg....yet again.

Plus being a 16 year veteran, 2 time MVP, recognizable by most casual fans around the country....seems an easy pick.

Congrats to Steve. Very deserving despite us playing horrible ball. It's really a shame his team is not performing well....but it's hard to argue against his play though. Good for Steve. Keep it up!
