Guess the number of losses ... win a prize

There are 35 games left in the season. How many more losses will the Suns take? They have a pretty brutal schedule for the remainder of the season. There is a change they could go 5-30 and 17-49 overall.
Of course the prize is a lottery pick. With 30 losses they could contend for the fifth spot in the lottery. A lucky bounce of the ball and some free agent signings this summer would start the rebuild process.
What's everyone's thoughts on Win/Loss for the rest of the season ??

Well right now we're 12-19 with 35 games remaining. I say they go 12-23 the rest of the way. Final record would be 24-42 and is that a top 5 pick in the draft???

22-44 will be our record. We will be slotted for the 7th pick in the draft, but we will win the lotto and get the 3rd pick. Book it Dan-o!

That would probably be an #8 or #9 pick. Looking at their schedule these are the teams they have a "good" change to beat
Wizards (H)
Warriors (H)
Sacramento x 2 (H/A)
Detriot (H)
Hornets (H)
These are probable losses
Lakers x 2 (H/A)
Clippers x 4 (2H/2A)
OKC x 2 (H/A)
Dallas (A)
Rockets x2 (H/A)
Heat (A)
Magic (A)
Pacers (A)
Spurs x 3 (2H/A)
Nuggs x 2 (H/A)
Blazers (A)
These could be considered toss-ups
Wolves x 3 (2H/A)
Grizz x 2 (H/A)
Jazz x 3 (H/2A)
Cavs (A)
I see between 5-10 wins the rest of the way.

I'm going to go with 25-41 and end up with the 9th slot in the draft.
However, luck finally decides to not bone us completely and we end up with the #2 overall

47-19 sounds about right, I feel a run coming on.
In all honesty I think if we keep the team as is, maybe bring in another player we could get around 30-33 wins. So I'm gonna say a 31-35 record.. no playoffs, we'll be in the middle of the pack... and not get a top 3 pick. The Suns could never be that lucky.

Going with Kerrsed optimism.

Toward the end of the season last year, Frye hurt his shoulder, Nash's back flared up, and Gortat broke his beak.
Due to the compressed schedule, I think the injury bug bites again this year causing a late season 12 game losing streak.
Suns end up 21-45 and get the 5th pick in the draft.
Suns badly need a wing, and will trade up from #5 (if necessary) to get either Harrison Barnes or MKG.
