We're not bad enough to be in the top 5, so we'll just have to hope to stay in the top 10. That should net us a pretty good SG/SF.

If Nash starts to get some DNPs maybe for soreness or something, the Suns could start a streak.

There's still hope that Telfair can overcome Nash and take over the starter spot right?
We are mediocre so will probably hover around the 8-12 range throughout the season unless our FO does something incredibly dumb/smart depending on how you look at it of course.
Hopefully the lotto balls are on our side, if the Bulls can win a rigged draft we can at least get a top 3 pick!

We only have 4 more win than New Jersey and Toronto. Its not that much of a stretch. I mean god forbid something happens to Nash and he misses some games, it would be rather easy to fall in the top 5 or 6.

Kings
Warriors
Pistons
Cavs
Have a good chance to have a better record.
Bobcats
Wizards
Hornets
Impossible... these teams are in different level of tanking.
Bucks
Raptors
Suns are fighting with for a higher pick!!!

I agree 100%.
I think we can get from #4 - #7 very easily.
That gets us MKG. We than need to buy a late 1st (or trade for one) and steal Teague.
Teague/FA/Gilchrist/Morris/Gortat. <-- That makes my pants a little tighter!

Our remaining schedule is very tough. Clippers 4 times, Spurs 3, Thunder 2, eleven more back-to-backs including back-to-back-to-back vs Utah, @ LAC, vs Detroit.

wish they would but your FO and some fans are so blind and ignorant that they want to shoot for the 8th seed.
Plus, remember they did "research" that hitting rock bottom takes a long time to rebuild. Cant wait till 2022 and the suns are still mediocre. Great research dumb a**es!

I pity Nash man. Even if he resigns we will be stuck with bad contracts like Childress and Frye that will cripple our ability to sign quality FA's. Not to mention its hardly likely we can land Eric Gordon( NO will probably throw a max) and Kevin Love( hes happy in Sota and is a fan favourite).
Get Darren Collison and Free Steve Nash!

lol a few seasons ago we were battling a 4-5 game deficit for top team in the West. Now we're 4-5 games behind for worst team in the NBA.

Those contracts aren't crippling our ability to sign quality FAs. Lack of cap space has done that to an extent. Which will not be an issue this coming summer.
I am still questioning Gordon. He has yet to play a full season, and has played less and less games each year since his rookie season. Good to great players mean very little if they can't get on the floor.

I still like Gordon but it does seem like his injury time-off is getting longer each time. Also recently I think, he said there was some cartilage damage in his knee, which could mean microfracture surgery could be something in the horizon.

I dont get what u mean by it not being an issue this summer..
How is paying Childress and Frye a combined 14m not being an issue....
We only have Morris, Lopez,Dudley, Gortat, Childress, Frye and Warrick under contract.
And according to most posters we will probably amnesty warrick meaning we we5 players under contract.
This is what our roster looks like based on guaranteed contracts next season
none
Dudley
Childress
Frye/Morris
Gortat
costing us 24 million. And thats for 1.5 starters i count dudley as half.
Now we have 30 million to find 3 starters AND fill out the bench.
If we had that spare 13million we could net ourselves a borderline all- star caliber player instead of having 2 overpaid rotation players
That 13milllion would come handy then huh?

You did read the sentence before that?

This summer, a lack of cap space will not be an issue. If you're still confused, I can't help anymore than that.

Maybe your word choice "cripple" has a different meaning to you.

none
Dudley
Childress
Frye/Morris
Gortat
I dont; want to get rid of any of them
But you left Warrick off the list. I do want him gone. Not because the deal is so terrible, but to free up space.
Dudley and Frye should be on the second unit.
Childress is very useful, seriously. $6mil is a bit much for him, but better 6 to him than 4 to Warrick.
Gortat
Morris
Chills
----
----
Take alook at FAs and see who all we cna get for $30m - some nice players

^ would also give us a bench of Dudley, Warrick, Frye too. Add a PG (Brooks?) and not the worst around..
