After a recent wave of "Has Father Time Claimed ...." threads hit the General Board, Mod HMFFL has been on a suspension spree, suspending anyone making one of these threads. Well, our boy _Nashoholic_ took it one step too far by creating a "Has Father Suspension Claimed HMFFL's Victims?" thread (http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1170721). _Nashoholic_ didnt receive a suspension like all the others, but was flat out waived.

Gone but not forgotten. He will be missed.

So Grumpy will have to wait until Nashoholic's new name to say," Stop quoting people on my new ignore list".

There's plenty others on there.

No clue what the issue is, but am severely bothered with mods' atitude.

Apparently they confuse loving and trolling. They might, but Boxxy does not.

I think 60% of our board has been banned and have risen again

It's the ones that never have been banned that are worth keeping around anyway. (mostly)

I was already signed off when _Nashoholic_ made that post. Another mod took it upon themselves to handle the situation. Howard Mass won't tolerate a mod being called out and it's in the rules. If anyone has a complaint they should pm Howard Mass.

I only banned one poster for the "Father Time" thread and it was a ballboy. Besides that, I issued warnings, and if anyone was suspended it was only for 12hrs, so the situation could be put to an end.

Why are the mods like dictators on here? What's wrong with some good ole fashioned trash talking. This website has not changed in 7+ years. They should work to make it better and more user friendly instead of worrying about suspending everyone.

Guys, you can't call out a mod here just because he's not a mod on this board...still against forum rules.

Just to be more clear, i wasnt calling out any Mods, and wasnt insinuating that HMFFL banned Nashoholic. HMFFL's suspension spree was rightfully so, as the GB was way out of control with the "Father Time Threads". I actually applaud his effort to bring order to the board.

I was GM on a Suns sports forum over 10 years ago by the name of fanhome. I was only able to handle it for a couple of years and i'm so glad i'll never have to be the bad guy again.

Not saying I dont feel for Nash but you gotta realize its no picnic being a mod - you have no idea the amount of complaints (some valid some not) that you get daily in your mailbox.

If he did something against the rules and got punished for it dont hate on the mods. Thats like hating on cops because your buddy got caught shoplifting.

Now of course I have no idea what it was about and there is always some chance that the mod is crazy and abused his power but 99% of the time that isnt the case.

Agree with mybloodisorange, and some people might not know but HMFFL a actually helped out on the Suns board a year or two back before Miklo saved the day...

I agree 110%. What Nash did was wrong and he knew it. The "Father Time" threads were way way way out of control, and there was like 10 of them on the front page of the GB. It was known that if you were to create one, you would be suspended, and Nash took it one step further by creating one, and calling out a Mod at the same time.

The GB is ridiculous.

The amount of homers and ballboys creating stupid threads on there is laughable. Once in a while you'll get a great discussion going, but for the most of it, it's pretty garbage to be brutally honest. I feel sorry to the mod team that has to moderate the GB.
