What likely is your team to resign him? Would an offer of 12 mil for 3 years be matched?

The FO might match a 4 mill per year for 3 years offer for Lopez. While he can downright stink the joint up, he can also play pretty decent for a back up C. For a 23 yo young 7 footer I can see Suns matching that offer.

My problem with Lopez is he is totally Jekyl and Hyde. You never know who is going to show up.
I'm sure the Suns would pay $4 per year for him in a heartbeat but the league is always needing big men and those big men always get overpaid so im guessing hes going to get more than 4.

No, we'll sign Aaron Gray and get more rebounds per minute and a little better offense at half the cost. You can have RoLo.

Wrong.
He is like Diaw, you know what your going to get, nothing good, unless his contract is up, and he's playing for a new one.
He stunk all year (including last year), then when he learned the Suns weren't picking up his option, thats when he started to step it up.

Not even close. Diaw is just straight lazy. I don't think Lopez is lazy at all, he's just... awkward, and he really doesn't know how to play well.

There were 2 plays last game that if transformed into a DVD would bring his value down by a notch:
1) he is going with his back towards the basket, trips over himself and falls on the defender that was half his size. (end of 3Q, beginning of 4Q if I'm not wrong)
2) he gets a pass with a lot of room to spin towards the basket and score, but ball magicallly escapes his possession and goes out of bounds.
I laughed hard on both, but only because we were winning by a wide margin. I think his latest "I'm gonna raise my contract" spree took a severe hit last night...
...which makes me think he probably already got a decent offer.

I'd match anny offer and then I'd trade him for someone, TE or at least a second round pick.
I want Lopez in my team if he signs around 3 millions per year, I don't think he deserves more than that.

For 4 million a year rather spend
-3 million in Oden
-500k for a physical trainer for him to optimize his weight, correct his dynamic motion etc
- 500k to Hakeem and other great trainers to teach him big man skills that doesn't require huge verticals.

depends on the offers - no way we match anything silly. But around 3-4, yeah re-sign him, and trade him.
