I read on NBA.com other day and he said he would like to coach. So, should we give him a chance or he won't be a good fit for us?

Nope, don't want, don't need. However, I still want Gentry to step down, he is not a good head coach.

In May 2008, Turner was interviewed twice for the Phoenix Suns' head coaching position which had become vacant after Mike D'Antoni left. Ultimately, he was not hired.

Thats when we hired Porter instead. I think Turner will get the Head Coaching job, but not until at least halfway through next season.

Every team which Larry brown trained qualified to PO even Bobcacts !!!
He was in final and as you remember with common players He could create an almost championship team ! Allen Iverson, young Raja Bell, Dikembe Mutombo against Kobe, Shaq, Fox. Do you remember first game 76'r against Lakers? Every damn commentators said Lakers will win 1st game and they lost after over time. Indiana Pacers times with Reggie Miller and those memorable games in MSG
What I'm trying to say is Larry Brown could clean the mess in Phoenix, learn players something new and react during the game !!! Don't say we don't need him. For all who are saying it you don't know nothing...

We don't have a roster constructed for a Larry brown team. We're better off either keeping Alvin and sucking a couple years or letting Dan get some exp and suckin a couple years. Larry brown isn't a savior.

Larry Brown can change the team and make some transfers. You all want a fast break team but without defence relying on jump shots and run basketball you won't win championship EVER !
Alvin Gentry? You are kidding me the same as Dan Majerle low level of coaching....

Larry Brown quits on his teams. Like D'Antoni, when the going gets tough, they leave town as fast as they can.

Like I have said earlier, I would make a good offer at Thibs. He hasn't been happy with how the contract talks have gone in Chi, and he is a solid coach. Sure Chi might match any offer, but his contract is up, and if we offer a very good contract to him, he may bolt.

I also like Laibeer. He has done very well in the WNBA, he has won Championships both as a player and a coach. He is tough, and since he has been an analyst, he has probably viewed players he would like to coach, and may fit his style of play. If he knows he will get Nash back, he may gear our offense to fit Nash's style, and we know he will expect toughness on the defensive end. Then I would hire Hornacek as our lead assistant, and try and steal either Hakeem the Dream or Kareem as or big man coach.

Money isn't a real problem there, because coaches don't count against the cap.

I am just not a big fan of bringing up one of our assistants. It has been done since the days after Cotton stepped in after Westphal, with only one exception in Porter, and then right back to an assistant. It seems like one area, where we skimp and try and save a few bucks, and it has never lead us to the finals.

Yes He is bad cause He won Championship ring with Detroit. Tell who from our great coaches did it ever before ? I can tell you NOONE. Facts are simple He was in finals for example with Pacers, 76ers, Pistons won a ring with team where made some important changes. You are blind if You tell it only cause You likes or dislikes him as a person. BTW Phil Jackson left Lakers after 0-4 with Mavs He just quited. Why can He stay, rebuild team? Yeah You say He was tired... Am I right?
