Fellow Suns board posters,

It is with a bit of hesitation that I am here to announce the retirement of longtime Suns board Moderator TASTIC, but more than hesitant I am excited for him as the next chapter of his life unfolds.

As we all know, TASTIC has served on the Moderator team for years (well before I joined up), and has been a valued poster for even longer. He's been one of the most highly regarded and level-headed Mods on RealGM as a whole, so we will certainly miss his presence as a Mod. I have put forward a combination of encouragement and threats, however, to make sure he still spends time around here as a poster and Retired Mod.

I'll let TASTIC give any details he'd like, but generally he has found some substantive, real-life alternatives to being constantly glued to keeping control on the boards. It's a very positive step for him, so join me in congratulating TASTIC and of course expressing gratitude for many years of maintaining such a high level of intelligent discussion around these parts!

Congrats Tastic on starting your new life. Married life is a task all in itself. It's smart to put forth as much effort towards it as possible. Thank you for doing a great job here.

You have earned your break, Tastic. Enjoy your life. Have fun, and don't be a stranger! You are always going to be in the RealGM Suns board's family!

What a great day, the only Suns mod who ever censored me is finally gone

For real tho, TASTIC did a solid job overall and will be missed.

Best of luck in real life with the lady and all, but I hope you'll pop around realgm every now and then, board does need the occasional sheep jokes here and there.

Be cool and keep away from going to Suns games outside of tanking years tho...

Yeah I just don't have the time anymore to dedicate enough to telling people off and stop the flood of b00bs seemingly in every game thread. So now, I will sit back and enjoy the rack-tion haha

Honestly though, it's been an awesome experience in itself, and I'm actually one of the few who on here can say they've met and become friends with fellow Suns posters, most from Australia (ironically our country's version of the Spurs...).

The highlight of my time as a mod is definitely from Destination Phoenix 2009...basically all my Suns dreams (bar a title and some wins!!) came true, and it was a time that could never be recreated, for which I am thankful to the other Suns posters and the Suns brass for making the trip as enjoyable as it was.

I'll definitely still be around and posting, I'll just have the put the red pen away and go back to sitting on my porch.

Miklo has been doing an awesome job running the place, and tsherkin's calm voice of reason is always there to help out too. And so now Kerrsed joins the Mod squad, where I'm sure everyone will join me in welcoming him aboard - safe to say we might have the most active new mod in RealGM.

So cheers, to everyone, it's been emotional.

Haven't visited the board in a long, long time, and I missed a lot!

Mace, thanks so much for A)helping me get started as a mod, and B)saving my derriere when I was in over my head with certain posters and threads.
