Fields is a great value as a second round pick on a second round picks salary. $4-$5 million will turn out to be a Frye style deal. I would rather not take him back in a trade. In fact, with Shumps injury, there might not be a player on that entire roster I would want in return. Thats funny.

The story so far: The entire Suns F.O. are in L.A. meeting with Beasley and Robin Lopez. They are gauging Beasley's fit on the team. The reiterated their plan to match any reasonable offer for Robin Lopez. Judging by the amount of $$ being thrown around this off-season so far though, he might get an unreasonable offer.

The Suns have been linked to several shooting guards including Jamal Crawford, O.J. Mayo (who is currently out of the country), and Jason Terry. They are meeting with Eric Gordon on Tuesday 7/3/12.

The Suns have also been linked to Chris Kaman.

Shall I post my paypal info?

Woah, you're talking crazy. 4/$28 is the max I'd go on Beasley. He's coming off career lows and has been linked to no other teams. We might be bidding against ourselves at the moment.

That's where Robin and Michael happen to be at the moment.

I'd only give SuperCoolBeas 5-6 mill a year tops.

They need the entire F.O. there to sign 2 players? Hmm.

Beasley on the Suns would be AWSOME!!!

This guy is hilarious. Reminds me of one of my favorite players Dennis Rodman =D

@sam_amick: Source confirms Toronto has offered Steve Nash a three-year, $36 million deal with no options attached. @ESPNSteinline had first.

How does Nash say no and go to the Knicks?

Not sure you would even have to go that high. $30/4 years might get it done. Totally worth it. He can be a 20 PPG player. If he can adjust his attitude a little and improve his defense and rebounding the guys can be the FOF.

Because its 74 in LA and 116 in AZ.

"hey welcome to Phoenix, did you enjoy that instant swamp-ass when you got off the plane? You can expect that 9 out of the 12 months here!"

I think it's pretty clear that they went there to interview him as much as anything. This front office, even more than the previous one, seems concerned with the character of the players (and the previous one didn't mess around, right Mr. Kidd? Uncle Cliffy?). If they are satisfied with what they see I wager we'll see an offer out to him in the next day or so. If not we'll move on. I have no problem at all with this approach by the way. In fact, I applaud it. I'm all for second chances. If this guy looks Mr. Babby and Mr. Blanks in the face and says all that bull is behind him, I'd give him the opportunity.

Basketball wise: Marshall-Mayo-Beasley-Morris-Gortat isn't terrible. With Crawford & Dudley as first subs off the bench with Telfair-Frye-Childress your deeper bench.

Just in case you forgot about this, the man doesn't even know when he's rubbing his own knee.

Marc Berman: Phoenix can sign Landry without sign and trade. #Knicks must give worthwhile piece to make Suns want to do something unless it is a favor.

If we amnesty Chill and end up with 29 mill in cap space, sign Gordon for 14.5, and split the remaining 15 mill between Supercool/Mayo/Lopez, then we end up with this squad:

Marshall/Bassy
Gordon/Mayo
Dudley/Beasley
Frye/Markieff
Gortat/Lopez

And you build around this young core for the future:
Marshall – 21
Markieff – 22
Beasley – 23
Gordon – 23
Fropez – 24
Mayo- 24
