I want to get pure Suns fans opinion on the topic.

Obviously we need to rebuild and I mean being bad isnt all theat bad...A top draft pick? lol

I will still love watching the Suns....But I get so sad when they lose.

So are we a top 5 worst team like these folks claim?

Currently without Nash, yes, we're definitely a bottom 5 team.

Lets see how free agency plays out first, though.

Let's face it guys, this is definitely a bottom 5 team without Nash. If there weren't some truly shocking teams in the East, this team would easily be a bottom 3 team.

Bad is good but.

Gotta see what the Suns do in free agency. Lon Babby & Lance Blanks both said the Suns are going to be aggressive in free agency, we will see about that, it also depends on if Marshall is starting and how he plays. The thing is the Suns could be a solid team 41-to 43 win team not great and still miss the playoffs, all depends on what they do in free agency. If the Suns do nothing in free agency and Steve Nash bolts I would like to think the Suns are would be one of the top 5 or 6 worst teams in the NBA unless Kendall Marshall plays like Steve Nash did last season. Gotta see what they do in free agency.
Go Suns!!!

We strike out on all our targeted free agents (Dragic, Beasley, Gordon, etc) than yes, we will probably be a bottom 5 team next year unless our rookie PG is a true gem and even than I see us still being a below .500 team.

This team needs an overhaul badly.

I've always said it and you'll probably witness it this year. Without Nash, The Suns will compete for worse record in NBA history. Just look at how horrible they were without Nash when they were stacked with Amare, Marion, etc. They almost never won. With this group of mediocre players, they are no better than the Bobcats.

And with the way the front office has managed the team since Marion left and Shaq came in, they deserve it to be that way. Hopefully Nash will land on a team without a cheapskate owner and a front office that is dedicated to winning. Suns will be irrelevant for many, many, many years to come, hopefully Nash will get a ring before he retires...

Yes, I think we will be one of the five worst teams. I can't think of any team that might be worse than us in the west. Maybe Sac or NO (if Gordon doesn't sign there).

In the east, only Charlotte should definitely be worse. Detroit, Wash, Clev and especially Toronto and Brooklyn should all be much improved.

Edit: Maybe Orlando if they don't get quality for Dwight.

Nash is gone, Beasley and Dragic are nice players and have talent and NO will match Gordon. So I really do not think we have much to compete with most teams out west. Honestly, I dont see many teams as bad as us out west if they dont do much more. There is still FA left, but Babs also said they are not going to spend money just to keep mediocre. It is time to hit rock bottom and rebuild.

We already hit rock bottom, Sacramento roster is way better than ours, and if NOLA match for Gordon, NOLA roster would be better too.. so probably we're the worst team in the West, and bottom 3, Charlotte and Cleveland should be worse.

I doubt with Beasley, Dragic, Frye, Dudley, Gorat, Marshall and etc that we're a bottom 5 team in the NBA. :D
