With Nash most likely leaving, and seemingly drastic new lineup, will the new era finally bring us new uniforms this year?

Those look great! Maybe change the font to a more western theme (like our unis in the 80's).

tweet paul coro and ask him what the deal is. they have new uniforms made, because they tweeted about them last year....if enough people ask him, he will respond (much like we did yesterdays morning with Dragic information)

If the Suns organization was ever considering changing the uniforms, NOW IS THE TIME! The Steve Nash era is over and the team appears to finally be rebuilding. What better time to update their look.

They've had these current (and ugly) unis since, what, 1999? Just about every other team has made some sort of change to their look (at least once) in that span. Our uniforms look very dated and I think the fans are ready for a change. Not only that, but I'm sure this will boost merchandise sales (you hear that, Sarver!?).

Of course, they need to look nice, but that shouldn't be too difficult considering how bad they look now. I say go for a more retro look, something similar to the 1968 Suns jerseys. Also, and most importantly, bring back the BLACK jerseys!

I would love to have either the purple or the black shirt shown above.

Too painful right now to keep using a shirt with Nash written on its back.

Not sure if anyone else saw this or not, but Paul Coro (@paulcoro) said this today in response to someone asking about the new uniforms:

"New uniforms have been in the works. With league approval required, it might have to be for 2013-14."

Anyone know if this means it's impossible for them to wear the new unis this upcoming season if it 2013/2014 will be the absolute earliest. This season just seems like the perfect time, though, since it's the official start of the Post Nash Era.

Only complaint I have about them is that I get an NCAA vibe from them. I have no idea why.
