Nash is a traitor. I am more mad at him than Sarver.

Go to hell, Steve.

I blame Sarver for agreeing to it. I would have said if you want to play for LA - thats fine but the Suns need the Lakers to take Josh Childress' contract. The TPE is stupid for a team UNDER the salary cap

How can anyone not blame Sarver for this.
First he was the on who's penny pinching made the Suns go from one of the favourites in the west to a team that is competing just to make the playoffs.
Now he agrees to send one of the best players in Suns history to the F'ing Lakers?!?!?!

I will always be a Suns fan but I will no longer support them financially. No more jerseys or other merch for me, not while Sarver stands to profit from it.

I am a Spurs fan, and even I feel bad. I'm actually laughing, it's so cathartic. What a clown.

I thought we all felt Steve deserved to go where ever he want to go. He wanted the Lakers.

Kudos to Sarver for not being an obstructionist to Nash's wants.

We at least get something for Nash leaving.

I'd prefer he didn't go to the Lakers, but that's what he wanted. I can't blame him.

I am not a Sarver fan, but how is it his fault? I think this actually helps Sarver in the future. He treated Nash with the ultimate respect by not trading him during the year and then letting go to where he wants. I think agents like Duffy will remember that with other clients. This hurts like heck but it is not Sarver's fault.

Shut up guys hating on Steve or Sarver. The FO got back a bunch of draft picks and Nash went to somewhere where he can have a chance at winning. He gave us many years of the funnest bball in the league and this is how you react?

Shut up yourselves.

Sarver got exactly what he wanted. Cash to put in his pocket. Picks to sell. It's amazing there's fans that can't see through him after 8 years. He didn't even have the acumen to get a 3rd team involved to get a young player back. Or try and get the Lakers to take on one of the multitude of horrendous contracts the Suns have. He saw 3 million and no salaries coming back and rushed into yet another nail in the franchise's coffin.

Really guys? Nash is the one that asked for this deal. Sarver was against it before today. Every real fan knows that Nash deserves a chance at a championship more than any player there is. And that will not happen in Phoenix. Nash leaving sucks, him going to the Lakers really sucks. But now he is on a championship contending team. And he is close to his kids. I wish him the best of luck and hope to see him in the Finals next year.

I think it was a good deal. I'm happy to have some draft picks. That is what we need more than anything.

I don't understand why everyone calls Sarver cheap. He has spent several times now on max deals. They have made some dumb moves I agree. The dumbest thing we've done over the years is trade away all of our draft picks. We're an old old team. We need draft picks. This was a good deal.

The Suns and Lakers are not rivals anymore guys. the Suns would need to be competitive for that to occur. Everyones hatred of the Lakers is kinda weak. Im born and raised Phx local. But I dont understand yall hate. The Lakers will compete this season. The Suns will not. So it isnt like we "helped a rival" or some nonsense. We simply did something very smart for our future, for once, finally.

Edit: And to me this isnt about appeasing Nash or giving him a shot at a title. It was just a smart deal for the Suns franchise. We get a bunch of draft picks for an aging on-his-way-out-of-the-league guard. It was a good deal based on the deal alone. Money comes off the books for cap-space and we dont lose Nash for nothing. no-brainer.
