According to different media outlets and RealGM as well PHX gave PJ Tucker a 2-year contract, partially guaranteed. Does anyone have insight on what partially guaranteed means? First year guaranteed? Part of first year?

Here's an article I found by an American sports writer in Germany who followed PJ's career a little closer, especially the last year in Germany.

What do y'all think of the signing? Since I grew up in the town he played last year and he played for my team I am pretty excited to see what he can do in the NBA. He deserved the chance since he was unstoppable in Germany last year, yet still played completely in the flow of the game and put the team first anytime. Really a great player in my eyes who's not any worse than a lot of NBA rotation players. I think he can really contribute in PHX at the 3/4 spot.

He brings depth and is a great competitor in training for our young players. I really like this signing.

I'm surprised by this. I remember him at UTexas and he was an undersized 3/4 at 6'5".

On a side note, has anyone heard if Diante Garrett will be picked up? I've always been a fan of him.

He's still at his best at the 4. At least in FIBA. Before, he never had range beyond 18 feet but now he also has a really good 3pt shot. He can easily play the three where he can overpower his defenders and rebound at a great rate.

I think he can play a good role.

Oh no..
I used to watch him alot when he was playing here in Israel..
He had some nice moves from time to time, but overall he was pretty horrible.
