I'd rather keep Sarver and our francise in Phoenix. There's always the possibility that a new owner would like to relocate it to Seattle.

The evil you know is better than the evil you don't know.

The Seattle Suns has a nice ring to it.

I can't imagine the Suns would ever be moved from Phoenix.

We'd never be moved from Phoenix, stop being paranoid people.

While I won't say the Suns will never be moved, they won't be moved anytime soon. The Thunder owner was only able to move the Sonics because he sandbagged getting an arena done. There is no way anyone will be able to claim USAC is a poor basketball venue at this point and given the Suns history I don't see a new owner being able to claim the city won't support the team.

That doesn't even make sense. Isn't it always rainy and cloudy there? I'm not sure Seattle even knows the Sun exists.

It Seems like something Seattle citizens would find ironic while sipping their coffees in Starbucks while writing that amazing novel of theirs on their MacBook pro.

There's about .5% chance of us moving. Phoenix is a reasonably big market and is one of the better destination spots in the league. (We are not the Bucks.)

That said, one can only hope this is true.

Not sure about a move, our home crowd sucks. Many games, there are more people cheering on the opposing team. :( Maybe a threat of losing the team could make our crowd sound like a real home crowd.

Sarver isn't going to sell the team until he makes some money back from what he spent this offseason.

It wasnt Bickley, it was some random guy that Bickley re-tweeted. I dont know who he is or how reliable he is, but judging from his other tweets, just seems like some random-ass guy. He also tweeted something similar to Coro.

@paulcoro HOPE: NewSuns Pres got job to assist in sale of the team now too... Let us pray

When/if another team comes to Seattle they will be the Sonics again. The Thunder's got the records and everything besides the name and team colors. I think the Suns would be safe though and could never imagine the team leaving Arizona.

This.

The Suns aren't being moved from Phoenix. The league wouldn't allow it, and Sarver would not sell to someone who wants to move the team. Also if serious talks were somehow to materialize that the Suns would be bought and moved the local Arizona politicians would get involved to stop it...up to and including the governor.

False. No plans to sell yet. Sarver has a 2-3 year rebuilding plan which includes a new coach. Dan Majerle will be the next Suns head coach.

I think they talk about Casper, who was new when Sarver bought the team.

If I was worried at all (which I'm not), I'd bet that the biggest danger might be the Kings moving somewhere (Vegas maybe?) and then Mayor KJ petitioning a new owner to move his old team to his new city (into a brand new arena).

Sacramento Suns has nice alliteration like Seattle, and seems to make a bit more sense.

I have been saying this for 2 years now. Once Genrtry's contract is finally up, Majerle will take over.

Come on now..... the training camp has already been moved, so if the Suns went anywhere, we would end up as the San Diego Suns.
