Suns Medical Staff

Post#1 » by Flying Colors » Fri Nov 2, 2012 6:21 am

Just like to know your thoughts

Why exactly is the suns medical staff considered the best? Is It mostly because of Aaron Nelson? Or is the whole staff considered amazing. Are the Suns willing to pay more than any other team for a this staff, is it just that these are just home grown and therefore just more likely to work with he Suns. Have the Suns always been kow for thier Staff?

I believe our medical staff has been wonderful for quite a while now. Maybe because guys like Nelson and few others haven't left which is why our medical staff is the best for many years now. Who would of thought Hill would play so many games in with us considering how he missed a good chunk of his career with the Pistons/Magic. Or Shaq not getting many days off like he did with previous teams in the regular season. We have revised so I'm glad our medical staff is top notch. I kinda wish Michael Redd stayed with us for another year because we his shooting would of helped.

Some people like to call them "voodoo". I'm really starting to believe it with all these injuries happening to former Suns.

They are investing a significant amount into training facilities and medical equipment recently. Most of the focus is on the prevention of injuries. Which I believe is what more teams are gravitating towards now. There are a few articles out on the web about the type of body analytics they employ to find weak areas in the body that need to be strengthened. By targeting these areas it's less likely that a player gets injured.

This year they've invested in more of those cryo-bath things that help regenerate cells at a much higher rate. Twice as efficient as an ice bath in 1/3 of the time.
