Thank you. Al Harringon will likely take his spot.

^Harrington's out another couple of weeks...Ayon is back...I suspect they throw a rookie out there, Harkless maybe? Otherwise they could go small ball and play Afflalo at SF for stretches alongside Redick and Nelson

I just put Josh McRobers in that SF spot since he has 5 years NBA experience. Harkless, Nicholson, and Quin are all Forwards too + rookies and I'm not sure if they will start.

Actually, Magic rookie DeQuan Jones has recovered from a thigh injury and has the height and speed to play SF. DeQuan tried out for the team during preseason and got the spot. He isn't a short, relatively unathletic wing like Afflalo and he's actually seen the court in game situations unlike Harkless (a sports hernia kept him out of preseason), so I'd assume DJ starts in place of Hedo.

As i see you put McRoberts both on the starting line up and on the reserve :)
Is it a trouble i see him double? :D :D

It will be fun to see Glen "Big Baby" Davis play.

This may be one of the handfull of teams worse than us! We have gotten some easy competition early im curious to see how the team does against tougher competition. Its just important that we stay patient and give them a few months to grow and get on the same page as a team - dont forget its an almost completely new team good chemistry takes time. And lets be honest Beasley looks like he needs some time to figure out what hes doin

So I was reminded today about my pops...

And I share this story from time to time so here goes:

When I was 10 it was a rough year. My parents got divorced. My sister went with my mother and I went with my father. The house was lost despite my dad trying to maintain it. We moved to an apartment for the first time a block away so we could stay in the same schools.

My dad was never in the greatest health. High blood pressure, he was in good shape, but it had been a nagging issue. He and I watched every Suns game. There was no bed time. There was no limits on the conversation. The only rule was that he preferred the radio turned on and the tv turned down. The the delay bothered me but I never said anything. I liked as a kid hearing zing go the strings way too much.

One night the suns were in overtime. The game was in the balance and my father just looked sick. He was tossing his cookies into a small bathroom trashcan in his recliner. He was sweating. And he was dizzy. I got worried. I knew something wrong. But I was scared to ask. After the game, the Suns won, and my father turned to me and told me to drive him to the hospital. He just had his first of many heart attacks. He had his quadruple bypass a few days later.

A day later he made me go to basketball practice. Made me. I was terrible at basketball. But my dad never missed a game or practice. After practice I talked to him on the phone. He had me get my backpack and get a small black and white TV we took to watch games when the family went camping. (We got reception out of Flagstaff, Prescott, or Payson but we never went camping where we couldn't get local Suns games.)

His doctor ordered him to never watch another Suns game. He attributed the heart attack to stress. And that my father should not watche games anymore and should give it up. My father told the doctor to go **** himself. The next night we plugged in the black and white TV and watched from his hospital bed a Suns game together.

My mother hates it when she sees the Marjele jersey hanging on the wall. Or that when the Suns or near I go with my wife and family to see them. Or that my eldest son and I have calls (stays with his mother; divorced) where we talk about nothign but basketball and the Suns.

But they don't get it. I do. My wife does. My eldest son gets it when we get to sit together as a family. His baby brother staring at the big television and we just spend time together as a family in support of something. And we forget about the economy. We don't care about health. We just root for the future.

Go Suns.

As mentioned, Hedo and Harrington are both out for the Magic, leaving the team incredibly thin at the SF position. Jacque Vaughn refused to reveal his rotation during morning shoot-around today, but imho tonight we'll see Afflalo at SG and undrafted rookie Dequan Jones at SF when Beasley is in the game, and Redick at SG and Afflalo at SF when he is not. Afflalo is capable of playing SF, and logged significant minutes at the position in Game #1, but Beasley has 6 inches on him and that is huge. Also, as mentioned, both Gustavo Ayon and Moe Harkless should be in uniform tonight. The team has been hesitant to play Harkless, given that he missed all of training camp and all of preseason, and if he logs minutes tonight it will be out of pure necessity. Ayon should play.

Hmmm ... we beat Detroit and had a close game against Golden State (lost by two). The Warriors beat the Clippers. The Clippers beat the Lakers and Memphis. Hell, Orlando beat the Nuggets two days ago and Hollinger, Chad Ford, and David Thorpe predicted the Nuggs would win Northwest Division over the OKC Thunder!!

Come on now ... it sounds like you've bought in to all the talking heads at ESPN, Foxsports, & TNT. Just because they run blogs about NBA teams or god forbid partied their way to a college degree in journalism doesn't mean they know sh*t about sports. Maybe you ought to read what a real basketball player thinks about the Suns.
