"Beasley will likely be moved to a bench role in the Suns' next game, the Arizona Republic reports."
"Beasley didn't play in the fourth quarter for the 10th time in the Suns' last 20 games. If you've watched Beasley play at all this season, this shouldn't come as much of a surprise. Beasley has struggled with his shot and generally played in a very blasé way throughout most games. Though he's shown an ability to facilitate at times, the requirement that he have the ball in his hands to do anything other than score puts the Suns out of rhythm. P.J. Tucker could finally get a chance to play over Beasley, or the team could move Markieff Morris to small forward and bring Luis Scola or Jermaine O'Neal into the starting lineup. Coach Alvin Gentry gave Beasley as long of a leash as he could to try and make the starting lineup work with Beasley, but hed simply doesn't play the game the right way. Though his minutes should ultimately suffer! , there's a chance that Beasley could excel in a bench role. Don't cut him until this all shakes out."
