I think the sad thing is that's probably our 'best' lineup...and it still sucks

I hate watching this team right now...just...awful...

We haven't lost 7 straight since the 03/04 season.

Soon thereafter, we traded Penny and Steph and then signed some scrub the next offseason...

Come on, Q-Rich was pretty good that year.

I'm hoping this is like the 02-03 version and in a year or so we get some all-stars and turn this team around. But Sarver is our owner so I doubt that happens.

Barbosa was already in Phoenix when we brought in Richardson and Jackson.

And he was pretty bad until 05-06. Seemed like he lacked confidence, similar to joe while penny was here.

Your post is misleading

it was the 03-04 team that had a bad record, if that's what you meant
Robert Sarver bought the team during that season
Joe Johnson, Amare Stoudemire, and Shawn Marion were already on the team
We went on to get a borderline all star that offseason...

In fact as a starter Dragic was statistically more or less just as good as Nash in his season with Dallas prior to signing him...

Nash: 14.5 PPG/8.8 APG/2.7 TO/3.0 RPG/0.9 SPG
Dragic:18.0 PPG/8.0 APG/3.1 TO/3.5 RPG/2.1 SPG

As much as the Suns invested in player development in the offseason I have been unimpressed so far.
I've never been on the fire Gentry bandwagon, but maybe he needs to go.
Johnson and Marshall need to see playing time, even though that means less or no P/T for Brown, Tucker, and Telfair. And the last two players deserve to see minutes for their hustle on the court.
I haven't totally given up on SuperSleepyBleas and Co. just yet, I see this as a 3 year improvement process, not something they need to get together instantly. Just because he's a few years under 20 and has played 4 years now doesn't mean he's too old too significantly improve.

lead early, gentry messes the rooster on 4th.
But I think this game will be winnable.

Hope dragic doesn't get owned by Reddick clutching from 3s.
