Local reports that Gentry is out in Phoenix. Current roster is a mess, regardless of coach. Gentry is a good guy + solid coach.

Turner is not head coaching material. Lindey Hunter is my guy between these two.

i loved alvin but he was just getting sloppy on rotations and seemed to have checked out with nash and hill months ago.

now majerle can run this team into the ground and get us a higher pick

What they are thinking?? Another Porter next? Gentry is a good coach, not Popovich of course, but he is well respected and liked by his players, and that is a lot in the NBA.

as long as it is not Dan Majerle.. that guy shouldn't even be an assistant coach I think.

Agree 100%. This is basically the Skiles situation all over again. Gentry didn't have an extension, and wasn't going to be back. Time to just move forward, but if they go with Korsokov or Majerle, we're in trouble.

Marjerle is a complete ham and party boy. No way should he be a interim head coach. They might as well hire Charles Barkley. Those two as head coaches while entertaining would be a down right disaster. I can see them taking the all rookies to titty bars to console themselves in the next 25 losses this team is going to face.
