Finally, the game we all anticipated. It's the day Earl Clark finally returns to the place where he had great success, let's celebrate his lifetime achievement with our francise.

Thank you Earl!
Go Suns!

All joking aside, here's the big question I'm curious about.......
To boo or not to boo?
When it was first reported that we were sending Nash to LA for draft picks, fans were pissed. They were even more pissed when they found out Steve himself asked to be traded to the Lakers!
At the time, if you asked what kind of reception he'd receive in his first game back in Phoenix, nearly everyone would have said he'd be booed like no one's business. Now that we've had some time to cool off and lots of other things have happened (namely that the Lakers aren't so good), I have to wonder if attitudes have changed.
Looking back, I realize that Nash meant a lot to our organization and truly cared about the Suns and it's a shame he didn't win a ring here. That being said, I cannot cheer for a Lakers' player. I won't be attending the game, but anyone that is, how will you personally react to Steve Nash when he's announced as the starting point for the Los Angeles Lakers?

Best thing would be for the stadium to be completly silent. No disrespect to Steve and no cheering for a Laker.

If there's some sort of tribute video celebrating his time as a Sun, I'll cheer, and then boo or stay silent when he's introduced as a Lakers starter, similar to how Boston fans treated Ray's return.
This is of course assuming that I'd actually be attending the game. I want to go but holy christ, tickets are expensive. I'm not shelling out 60 bucks to sit in the upper bowl to watch a blowout. No thanks.

If i had the opportunity to attend i would silently clap hands in recognition of what Steve did and meant for the Suns, but would neither boo or cheer.

This is a must win. They can lose all other games in the season, as long as they beat the Lakers.
It is unlikely, but I'd boo the c&@p out of Steve Nash so he cries and leaves the game, and then I'd go after the game and say "hey man, I'm sorry, nothing personal".

Yes, I think it's a fair question, all things considered. Out of curiosity, what's your answer?

Why do you care? Aren't you a Lakers fan now?

I would cheer.
My love of Nash and what he did for our franchise outweighs my hatred for the Lakers. I hate the Lakers - trust me - but no where close enough to even consider booing Steve Nash.
The notion is insane.

If Nash can lead the Lakers into lottery land and delivery Phoenix with just one more much needed assist..... I'll applaud that for sure!

I want the suns to win out against the lakers. We can lose every other game, I don't care. I just want to beat the lakers.

Cheer, loud and long. Nash did not choose to leave, necessarily. But once it is over.
I hate the Lakers.

Phoenix back in black retro jerseys in a game vs. Lakers. The team played in them 1994-2000.
Suns and 6 other teams were selected to participate in a Hardwood Classics program. As part of it the first 10 000 who will enter the game will be given memorial shirt with a inscription "back in black".
Other games when Suns will play in that special jerseys are:
10th Feb vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
22nd Feb vs. Boston Celtics
24th Feb vs. San Antonio Spurs
18th March vs. San Antonio Spurs
24th March vs. Brooklyn Nets
30th March vs. Indiana Pacers

"the first 10,000"? Like there will be a second 10,000. I bet half, if not 3/4 of the people that go tonight are stupid Lakers fans.

Still hate the Lakers. Nash is my favorite player of all time, but he isn't wearing a Suns jersey, therefore he is the enemy. Go Suns!

Grumpy, if any fans go tonight, they will be stupid, since the game is tomorrow.

Remember though according to Grumpy 3/4 of them will be Lakers fans so I agree with your assessment that they will be stupid.
