Magic fan here:
Orlando will be on the look out for a PG to replace Jameer Nelson. With the trade deadlines starting to heat up the wires, I wonder what Suns fans think of their rookie PG. Orlando has numerous assets in a trade, including 8 players born in 1989 or sooner, and 6 first round draft picks in the next three years.
Do Phoenix fans project Marshall as a future NBA starter?
What is expected in return for Marshall?

Re: Kendall Marshall question
Fans on this board probably don't see him as a starter, some guys don't even think he's an NBA player. From my perspective, he should be avaliable although our front offices loves him and I don't believe that they will give up on him in his first season.
Expected return? Tough to say, I'd be surprised if he has any value around the league. If there's no good offer out there, I'd rather keep him on my team. I don't see many deals with Orlando out there, unless you want to talk about Harkless which is probably not the case.
Just out of curiosity, what would Orlando offer?

Hill on Nash going to the Lakers: “That’s like transferring from Duke and going to Carolina.”

The core is expected to be around Harkless, Nicholson, and Vučević. If Redick is traded, Afflalo will hang around for a couple years. There is also pretty good depth up front for Orlando. The long-term issue for this team is starting PG and SF depth.
What would Orlando offer? McRoberts is definitely tradeable. Whether the Suns are looking for an NBA player whose "upside" has also been better than his game, well, is that not the same as the Marshall question? An all of the bench would be on the table. Vets such as Harrington and Moore could be assets for on-floor coaching. Ayon is available for a team needing Center depth.
So, something like McRoberts, Ayon, and the Denver/Knicks first in 2014 (will be around 25th pick) for Zeller and Marshall.

Re: Kendall Marshall question
Yeah, that's what I expected. Like I've said, I don't expect our front office to trade Marshall unless it's a great offer and with all the respect, neither McRoberts nor Ayon have potential to help our team in the future. A pick is always nice but we already have enough of those late ones in the next three years.

Re: Kendall Marshall question
Marshall can be had for pick 13 in this coming draft or the next.
