I feel like any time you can get lotto talent for a 2nd round pick it's a nice move....regardless of the weird twin thing.

I somewhat agree, and would definitely wholeheartedly agree if we were over the cap line (but under lux tax) but since we had cap space for the summer and are just eating into it, I'm not sure, particularly since we have so many power forwards (I know he was trying to play at sf but it hasn't worked out well much like Beasley). But it is an asset.

Edit: Just realized if we were over the cap line we would have had to trade salary out to match, so basically we are just eating into cap space to add someone at a position where we don't really have a need. But it is an asset I suppose that we could trade later.

I agree but at the same time I think Marcus has very little value around the league, so he is not a good asset at all. We got him for a second round pick.

The novelty of the twin thing is more of a personal gripe for me than anything. The deal itself is nice.

Was thinking about it.... which of Morris twins do you consider better?

I checked Marcus stats through the season and I see he has some really good games with HOU especially when he was a starter there for a few matches.

I also like Marcus more, because I actually can understand him more while he speaks on interviews rather his brother do :D

I thing RealGM needs more pools. Something like. Do you like this trade or not? Who would you trade frome this team Brown Brown Beasley or Brown :D

The trade isn't bad, but yes, this is how I feel about it.

If one of them outshines the other, we can trade the better one, but secretly send the worse one and no one will be able to tell!

One of the benefits is that since Marcus is a tweener like Beasley, you can now waive Beasley with the stretch provision and have Marcus take his place.

So, the Suns gave up probably $2m or precious cap space this summer for this guy. I sure hope the Morris brothers bring out the best in each other - as even though it only cost a team a second rounder, give me the damn cap space to get a difference maker. Not another bench guy who will have trouble getting minutes. I guess the only positive is another move=able contract in a sign and trade. I just don't get this move. Even for a second rounder.

Plan A was to get Brook Lopez last year.

Since that didn't work out, we went with plan B.

Win-win.

Houston had no use for Morris, and we suck at drafting. Case closed.

Sarver, hire this man.

Also, if one of them has an injury and wants to sit the game out and the other is in foul trouble they could easily swap jerseys during half time and get away with it. Then the one in foul trouble can play with no fouls!

Keef has more of a baby face and Mook has a little bit of a sinister look.

It gets even better with identical twins. Whenever Keif gets into early foul trouble you just have them swap jerseys at halftime... hmmmmm

This may not work, but why not try Beasley at guard? He basically plays guard on offense anyway. (He sort of acts like Brown except his shots often go on the inside of the rim instead of the outside.)

What's so bad about Tucker? I can see him being a great 6th man/defensive specialist if he was on a good team.

Less cap space this offseason is a great news IMO. It makes overpaying Monta Ellis or Josh Smith less likely.

Only negative I can think of is that if we move one brother, we pretty much have to move the other as well since they are so close and I can only imagine them checking out mentally if either is traded again.

Than again, that's probably another positive for some of the posters here who want to see the twins gone already,
