Goran is out again (Hunter decision). The "strategic draft placement" is kicking in.

UofA vs Ohio State? To me, that's like the Spurs playing the Lakers when we don't have a pick from either. :D

I went to ASU, and my sister in law went to Michigan.

Come on Kerrsed, don't get yourself caught up in the assumption of one side of an argument. The argument was there was no proof any player or coach was told or instructed to purposely lose games. As for a top three pick, having the third worst record in no way guarantees a top three pick in this league. Drink out of the wrong cup today?

Sitting Goran the other night provided thirteen assists for our rookie.

Yeah, "tanking" typically doesn't start on game 72 of the season. :D

38-32 after the first, you can tell by the crowd of about 2,000 that this is an important game,

Suns had me worried going on a run and tying it 46-46, but Kings are now on a 14-0 run, phew.

Well it seems clear that our young guys struggle to close the half. :(

I find it a bit funny that Brown hasn't entered the game, with how poorly we are scoring.

How is everyone liking Kendall Marhsall?

I feel like he is one of the best passers in the NBA, clearly he needs help elsewhere, but I was wondering what ya'll think of him and his future?

It's tough to figure out. If he has trouble shooting, his defense gives up too many points, and he doesn't have good finishers around him, what good is he? I don't mind him, I just think we drafted him too early. When the sixtieth pick in another draft at the same position is lighting the team up, it just doesn't bode well for a lotto pick.

Well, there's that explanation. And then there's also the explanation that there's a lot of luck in the draft. It works both ways and many times the best explanation incorporates multiple views (which of course you know). Otherwise you may end up with stupid things like this yahoo sports page:

Is there a side contest between Morris, Marshall, and Johnson to see who can end up with the worst shooting percentage tonight? :o

I'm not sure if we can win another game this season. Nine games left and seven of them against playoff-level teams. Two against losers Minnesota and New Orleans.

I didn't go too into detail, but we really haven't seen too much of him. However, his shooting has been poor, and his defense not very good either. I like his court vision, but if the other guys can't finish the play, that gets negated fairly quickly.

However, I do think he can work on those deficiencies.

I agree. He's going to have to work hard though. I'm surprised at how shaky his jump shot is as well. Its not often you see someone with a weakness such as that in the nba. Hunter might as well play him because there's nothing to lose in these last few games, even if Dragic is playing.
