Needing more conditioning, Gortat will not return for #SunsVsRockets tonight. O'Neal (shin) also will not play. Beasley rejoined the team.

The Suns (24-56) sit at the bottom of the conference and are already guaranteed the second-worst record in franchise history, finishing ahead of only the 16-66 mark in the team's expansion season of 1968-69.
They've dropped 15 of 17 after a 105-93 loss at Minnesota on Saturday in which they committed 28 turnovers. Coach Lindsey Hunter's club is averaging 17.5 turnovers over its last 17 contests, the most in the NBA during that span, and opponents are scoring 21.3 points per game off of those mishaps.
"We turned the ball over entirely too much," Hunter said. "It wasn't complicated turnovers, it was simple passes that we tried to be too fancy or tried to thread the needle to thin."
Wes Johnson has been one of the few bright spots for Phoenix as the season winds to a close, averaging 14.7 points on 44.8 percent shooting and knocking down 39.3 percent from long distance over his last 10 games.
He averaged 6.0 points while hitting only 28.4 percent from deep through his first 38 contests.

Last steps on this season ending...

Dragic with 9 assists in the first quarter. It would crazy if he broke the Suns record for assists in a game with this terrible, horrible excuse for a team around him.

Nice 1st half. Fun to watch Dragic push the ball.

Why would the Lakers being cheering for us tonight? Wouldn't you be hoping Houston clinches with a win, and rest their guys against the Lakers?

Apparently if Houston loses tonight and against the Lakers, the Rockets would be in 8th place and Lakers would be in 7th.

All that matters for Suns' fans is that the Lakers lose against Houston and the Jazz beat the Grizzlies. Not likely though, with the obvious officiating direction as of late.

But wouldn't a loss tonight give extra desire for Houston to beat LA? Does it really matter if the Lakers face SA or OKC? They are losing either way. No way the Spurs lay down for the whole series like they did the other night, especially with home court advantage. And there is no way the league keeps up this extra help throughout a whole series, after SA purposely lost for the league the other night.

Spurs are banged up. Its a better matchup for the Lakers than the Thunder.

Having the Rockets lose and beating them on Wednesday at home for a higher seedn is a good gamble for the Lakers especially with the Jazz playing the Grizzlies at Memphis with the Grizz needing a win to try to get home court advantage.

PJ "There's 100's of him in the D-League" Tucker is dominating Harden this game.

I see what you are saying, but I think SA is playing possum a bit. I don't think they lay down for you guys like they did the other night.

Who was the troll who gave him that title?

Dragic and Harden together would be the best backcourt in the league, easily.

Why are almost ALL of the "Great Moments in NBA History" segments clips of a team beating the Suns? I'd say 75% of them are.

Its a long shot either way but the Spurs without manu and out of form Parker is a better matchup than fully healthy Thunder.

You'll always have the Chambers dunk.

What if GS loses tonight(which doesn't look likely) and against Portland. Would the Lakers (if they won) move up to sixth and face Denver?
