Phil Jackson looking to get back into the NBA

I'd love to have him. He's old and has an ego, but I think him and Pop are the best coaches in the league. We ALWAYS got outcoached by the Lakers and Spurs during our 04-09 run with D-Antoni at the helm. Hell, remember when the Lakers almost beat us in the playoffs with a lineup of scrubs + Kobe?

I don't expect the Suns to get him, but I'd like to try.

Even if we got him, I'd bet Sarver and him would clash since Sarver seems to like working with guys he can mold, manipulate, and control. I doubt Phil would put up with that.

Suns are stacked enough for him to come here and the Heat seem happy with Spo, I doubt he's going to come back as a coach.

No chance Phil wants to coach here (or possibly anywhere next season), but he definitely would like to be a front office guy somewhere. Sarver needs to contact him and offer him any job in the front office that he wants. I'd have given him Babby's position, but they already resigned him (and perhaps Phil doesn't want to be President of Basketball Operations anyway). The team needs a lot of smart basketball minds and Phil is as smart as they come. If Sarver could bring him aboard somehow, perhaps I'd change my opinion of him.... just a little.... maybe.

PJax coaches ready-built championship caliber teams. We're not even built to be an average NBA team.

I would think that Jackson would be intrigued with the idea of replacing Blanks in PHX.
