Hopefully our coaching staff will be focused on developing the young players this season. By developing I mean in a starting role. To me it makes little sense to have these new players ride the pine at all this season behind a veteran player. Not playing destroys confidence. They have to make their mistakes so they can correct them. Obviously we need to keep a few journeyman who have good character and work ethic to lead the crew.

I don't think I would object this lineup.

Goodwin/Marshall (or vice versa)
Dragic/Garrett
Tucker/Dudley
Morris #1/Morris #2
Len/ Oriakhi

Fill in with even more undrafted youth who work hard, have potential, and can challenge the other young-uns for playing time At least get them on the summer league roster and see if they might fit Horny's system.

C - Dewayne Dedmon, Jack Cooley
PF - C.J. Leslie, Jackie Carmichael
SG - Michael Snaer, B.J. Young

We'll see what type of talent McD has trying to move Gortat, Scola, Brown, and Beasley. Hopefully he can convince Sarver to pay Beasley to stay at home.

While I agree that the rooks should get plenty of playing time, we need a few veterans to help them grow. Which is why I was sad to see JO go. Guy like him would have been perfect to tutor the younger guys.
