Beasley?

Suns fans fill me in, with the new GM and coaching change, what happens to supercoolBeas? I mean, obviously with that contract nobody will dare to touch him. Any tidbits coming from coach Jeff? Will he play a key role off the bench? Or pretty much the same of last season's 2nd half wherein he'll be there in games randomly? Where does he stand in your team's depth chart?

Shoots like crap. Has no assertiveness, or when he does get aggressive, it's never in a smart way. Settles sometimes. He also can get tunnel vision and -refuse- to pass.

Beasley has all the natural talent in the world and not a lick of actual basketball aptitude or IQ.
If you could have given Beasley's physical gifts to Jared Dudley, you'd have yourself an amazing player. As-is, he's just kind of lazy, mentally unstable, and unreliable. I've seen him take over game and make amazing, athletic plays, and then I've seen him jack up lazy jumpshots and go 2-16 or something with poor defense and rebounding, and the latter is more common than the former.
I don't know if Hornacek can mold him, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Don't think there've been any official statements yet. I wouldn't be too surprised if we had him starting at SF, because I don't think we have that many players that can start there. Unless we re-sign Wes Johnson.

His contract isn't that bad, the Suns can buy him out after next season.

Beasley starting? The season is over before it could begin. Regardless of that, hopefully (there's the word hope used when talking about Beasley again...) he's put in a good summer's worth of work.

No way in Hell Beasley is the starting SF. PJ Tucker and Caron Butler will be battling for the majority of time at that spot. Horny has already said playing three guard rotations is a possibility. Bledsoe, Dragic, Tucker would be ideal and PJ at 6'6" and a 7 foot wingspan can more than hold his own against many SF/PF (e.g., Durant, Kobe, LeBron) as he showed last year.
If we happened to move Scola I could see Beasley playing PF, as an instant offense role off the bench, in limited minutes. And that's being f-ing generous on my part. My hope is any off court screw ups by him are highly scrutinized and he is sent home to tend his garden for the rest of the season.

I'd seriously be really happy if we took Michael Beasley, took all his clothes, wallet, and phone away from him, and dumped him off somewhere in Chicago.
Like, really happy.

Make sure you take his stash before you dump him in Chicago...that would really hurt him.
He'll probably go in and out of the starting rotation like last year which is perfect for tankfest 2014. If he actually starts playing well they just have to give him some wrong directions again so he misses the flight like last year.

As someone on here posted, eloquently, his big problem is that he's dumb. Case closed

God, this guy is talented to be a main guy in this roster - i realy don´t know what holds him back. but i gotta agree that he is missing som iq Points. with all his Tools he should be a starter at sf with an avarage about 17pts and 7 boards, that´s what he should do.
maybe we can trade him alongside gortat ?
is butler going to get bought out?

Jeez, what the hell has Beasley done to you personally?
Some of you need to step back and realize that basketball is just a game...just cause Beasley is a bad basketball player doesn't mean that he deserves to die or suffer cruel and unusual punishments...
Unless Beasley has slept your mom, sister or wife...or if he's killed or harassed or done something else insulting to you or a loved one, there is no need to wish such terrible things on him or any other player in the NBA who hasn't done s**t to you.

Dude, take it easy....it's a joke.
EDIT: You know what, at this point, I think it's best if you just placed me on ignore. It's clear you don't like what I have to say about things or how I say them, so I think that'd be the most beneficial course of action for you.
