Here we go with an unrealistic scenario.

The Suns can trade for the #2 pick and finish with the #3 pick in the 2014 NBA draft. They give up all their remaining picks and the 2015 Lakers and Suns pick to do so. Build your team of the future now.

Me: Suns sign Paul Pierce on a good deal for the last years of his career. They match a near max on Bledsoe.

1) Wiggins
2) Parker/Randle

The Lineup:

Dragic/Green/Parker/Randle/Plumlee
Bledsoe/Goodwin/Pierce/Morris/Frye
Morris/Morris/Len

The Suns come out with an exceptionally athletic starting lineup. They have a young amazing core that is followed up by sixth man of the year winning Bledsoe. The depth of the Suns is amazing and no team matches up well with them as they can go hard the entire game due to the deep bench. Len is the team's weakness and the only long term need is to address at center. The bench could be a starting lineup on a poor NBA team in its own right. Pierce provides championship pedigree to the team as he finishes out his career in Phoenix.

The 2014 seasons results with a trip to the finals and a loss to Lebron in company. The following year as Wade is no longer relevant is the rise of the Suns and Parker/Randle rise to stardom as they lead us into a 2015 and 2016 banner year. They are #1 in the west only competed with by the Clippers and Thunder. The Laker's finish last both years and are the laughing stock of the NBA as Kobe limps around with his final two years of that dumbass contract.

In fact in a game Green loses his head and knocksouts Kobe with a bitchslap.

Of all the players you could fansturbate about Paul Pierce is the first player you think of? Not Love, Westbrook, LeBron, Melo, Wade, or hell even Luol Deng? That's just weird. While yes he can still shoot pretty decently, he has got to be the slowest player under 7ft in the NBA.

Why would Bledsoe resign to play backup point guard? And why would we pay him near max to do so?

Bledsoe wouldn't. But we can match an offer sheet to him this offseason regardless.

As to the other question I have a simple fansturbated answer. I always envisioned the Suns first championship being driven by Suns. I would rather win a championship with as many drafted/long term Suns possible. I could easily fansturbate a Lebron or Melo. Etc. But that would be a rented championship to me. I want the first to be driven not by a paid for championship. I've always liked Pierce. Bledsoe gives me the Phoenix Sun 'vibe'.

Wiggins and Randle is like me with $100,000 in a Vegas whorehouse type of fansturbating.

Well then why not sign Marion instead of Pierce as backup SF?

The Bledshow/Dragic conundrum is not one easily solved, but really one that has to be figured out on the court. We'll see.

This past summer I envisioned Dragic playing the Manu role on a contender, being a part of the big "3" in minutes, closing out games, but also providing scoring/playmaking off the bench. But he's definitely improved his game, or is perhaps just reaching his prime.

If only Bledsoe was 3 inches taller and could defend SG's.....

Damn this would be tough as hell. Dragic has been doing well but Bledsoe has too. Bledsoe never looks like he is having fun in phoenix and dragic is a fan fav. I would draft Gary Harris with our pick or the wizards. Then draft hood or something.
