Davis will get the nod, and I'm okay with it. Real killer was Lillard over Dragic

I can live with AD getting the spot. He's a monster. But you cannot make a single argument to put DL in the ASG over Dragic. I'm almost dumbfounded. Are the coaches that stupid?!

Does a 5 game win difference mean that much?!

I'm a fan of Davis and with the season he's having, I wouldn't mind him making the AS roster. BUT I would still be annoyed because he'd be taking that spot from GD who I think deserves it more.

You're both right.

Legit 20&10 guys don't usually get left out of the ASG and this year Cousins and Davis both are going to be home. I still don't understand the Lillard nod over Goran. I guess because Portland has been surprisingly good this season. So have the Suns though, but whatever.

If Davis go, he's absolutely deserving. If Goran goes he's absolutely deserving. I hope it's Goran though, because he is owed a $1Mil bonus for making the ASG.

Its kind of dumb to replace a SG with davis but I wouldn't be surprised at all.

The all star game doesn't deserve Goran Dragic. 8-)

Goran's FG% is higher than Damian Lillard's team's win differential.

This sucks :/

It sucks he's not there and basically has no chance to make it this year.

Chuck him in the skills challenge maybe? He could win that, easily...

Joe Johnson and All Star?! pffft. What a farce, Stephenson as much as I don't like him, should be there.

Dragic' last 3-4 games weren't taken into account I assume, as voting etc was done last week.

Also no Plumlee in the rookie/soph game, what a joke - he's the ideal athletic big to throw in there...

If team success weights as much as we want to believe for these matters, he'll choose Goran, but leaving Anthony Davis out of the allstar in his city will take some serious balls. Ideally Paul can't play either and it's all good.

Joe Johnson making it is a joke.

Dragic said if he doesn't make the all star team he isn't going out there to do the skills challenge.

If they ask channing or gerald to do the three point contest I would love it if they decline too. I wouldn't like them any less for going out and participating since they earned it but it would be amazing to see them kinda boycott the whole event for giving them no real representation by snubbing miles and dragic when both deserve to be there.

And CP3 is a huge douche he wants to play in front of new orleans? How about you sit your injured ass down so the fans get to see AD play in the all star game. Thats how you do that town a favor they don't want to see your ass after you were going to leave them. I get it that the silver will still most likely pick AD as kobe's replacement because it is in new orleans but its still a toss up unless he doesnt play and it guarantees him a spot

I get that positions don't mean a thing in the ASG but currently the West depth chart looks like:

Curry, Lillard, Parker, Paul
Bryant*, Harden
Durant
Griffin, Aldridge, Nowitzki
Love, Howard

By replacing Bryant with Davis, you'll either have to have a 6 man big rotation, or play Dirk, Love or Griffin some at the SF. Good thing it's all for show and no one gives a **** about playing D.

What if Curry were to get injured before the all-star game..... say like on Sat, Feb 8th? Dragic would be a shoe-in, right? Tucker could really cement his status here in Phoenix, if he gets the job done right.

Nowitzki is having a tremendous season, better than Davis, Cousins or Dragic, his presence is absolutely legit, a top10 player and the best offensive big man in the game by far.

Dragic should go over Lillard and Davis with the Kobe spot, now only one can go.
Westbrook also should go over Lilalrd but he is injured and wont play anyway so it's not that bad.

I'm hoping that CP3 still won't be up to it, and Dragic will be his replacement. But knowing Paul, he won't give up his spot.
