POLL: Will the Suns do ANYTHING before the trade deadline?

INF's poll gives all these options for what we could do. I'm wondering if we'll do anything at all. It seems pretty quiet regarding the Suns other than the Gasol talk but with McDonough, I won't be surprised either way. I like that he seems to strike a hard bargain but that also could lead to less action. On the other hand, we shouldn't make a move at all without a good reason.
What do you think?

I'm thinking no. And this will be the first time in a long time that I will be completely fine with us not making any trades.

Ha. I don't want to burst your bubble but it's very possible nothing happens.

BTW, did you ever say what you want to happen? I'd be very interested to hear.

I don't have a pressing need to see a deal made now.
But if something is done, I would like to see McDonough land the draft rights to Bojan Bogdanovic. I wouldn't mind seeing an upgrade in the backcourt, like sending Ish to the Lakers for Steve Blake. And less likely, but still something that appeals to me, if McDonough made a play for Enes Kanter. Ultimately, I'd like to see McDonough cash in the Morris Twins either at the deadline or on draft night. I also wouldn't mind picking up Anthony Tolliver.

Not sure how the thoughts of Bogdanovic, Blake, Kanter, and Tolliver enter someone's mind lol

Apparently I'm alone here, but I think we're being linked to too many of the available players for us not to make a move. The latest is Gary Neal. I think we'll make a minor move.

I think we enjoy the ride and take the extra cap space. There is no one on the table that improves our team enough to make a significant difference anyway

McD was on the radio today and was asked if the Suns planned on making a trade at the deadline. Of course he was tight lipped and skirted around the question, but he did comment that when a team is playing as well as the Suns that it is hard to bring in a new player with only 30 games left and integrate them into the team without issues developing.
He made specific comments that ideally you do something in the off season when you have training camp and preseason to integrate new talent.
All this doesn't mean we don't trade for Gasol or someone else at the deadline however.
I voted that we'll stand pat and not make a trade.

After deliberating for a bit, I also went this way.

I could see a minor depth type move (I really hope it's not Gary Neal) but I'm doubting we see any of the 1st rounders dealt.
I think they save the bullets for this summer. It's so much easier to make bigger moves around the draft then it is at the deadline.

I'll update the answer I gave to you earlier 'bone: I would really love to end up with John Henson and Enes Kanter.

I like your thinking for the most part although I know nothing about Bogdanovic but I gather from your comments that he's a stud.

Apparently the board wins in a 12 to 9 decision.
