I can't believe they would cut Slava after the entire arena showered him with MVP chants last night.
We've lost the heart and soul of this team. Whatever goodwill Sarver and McDonough had garnered with the fanbase will quickly evaporate now.
Fare thee well, Slava. I, for one, will never forget how you revitalized Phoenix Suns basketball.

He has a reputation for practicing hard and has history with McD from back in Boston.
I was kinda hoping that we would cut Slava and sign a FA that's really good at FT shooting even if he sucks at everything else. We could use a good FT shooter down the stretch in games.
Oh well no big deal really. Maybe Randolph will surprise!

I know right. What a horrible GM. First they don't make a trade at the deadline and keep the future in tact and now this.

Is this an improvement or setback in terms of pronunciation difficulty?

Kratsvovokov never really played, while I would not be surprised if this guy started taking Len's minutes. And Len's name is quite easy to pronounce. So, while Shavlik Randolph is easier to pronounce than Slava Kravalovslova I think in terms of value over replacement difficulty and his per 36 syllables compared to Alex Len... I think its a setback.

Kravtsov's highlights a Sun came when he was chosen to be the FT shooter against the Knicks. Props to him for hitting at least one of the two FTs.

Weird.
I think he might get some PT. Could help with rebounding. It's "Shaw-leek", right?

Didn't know that. Only thing I know about Duke and NC is that they have a rivalry.

Part of that rivalry is because they are both in the same state. Kinda like Texas vs A&M...or Knicks vs Nets..etc.

The rivalry exists because they are both part of Tobacco Road. The campuses are literally 8 miles from one another.
Duke, NC, and NC State are separated by less than 25 miles. Wake Forrest used to be really close as well until they moved in the '50s or '60s.
